  • I LOVE THIS RECIPE, I will try it today. However, I see quinoa boiled with or without cover, does that not make a difference in how fast the water evaporates? Thank you.

  • @nemoryer Hey, sry for late reply - I'm not active on this account anymore. But to answer your question: I have found that the time it takes the water to boil off when there is NO cover, is just about right for how long the quinoa needs to cook. So uncovered is my preference. :) Hope that helps.

  • This is really good, altho maybe a bit bland. I also add spinach for the vegetarian in the family for some extra iron. A very versatile recipe, thanks!

  • yummy!! I prefer a little more vinegar but that's just personal preference! This salad can be made in small or large quantities, it lasts a couple of days but then gets a little soggy, so if you're making it for an event, try to do it just before!
