MTV categories this band as alternative music that only can be played on 120 minutes show, such as Radiohead, Bjork, and Talking Heads. Only rap and pop, like Back Street Boys were on MTV in the 1990s. I watched Canadian music station called Much Music they played bands I like, that some MTV would never played. I was there to witness, now MTV changed again since then. again.

Have to disagree with you there, Alicia. I'm not a huge fan of either group, but Nirvana was definitely a way better band than Foo Fighters. Kurt's lyrics were just on a way deeper level than Dave's. No disrespect to Dave, but Smells Like Teen Spirit was a song that pretty much defined a generation and launched a movement. Nevermind is an all-time classic album, and the Foo, while great in their own right, will never be able to match that.
