i just saw the re-run show of Full Throttle Salloon on tv. never watched that show before (only saw it cuz i was eating turkey left overs). its funny to see how wrong and twisted people act when they dont know the truth. people on that show (main characters and passer-by's) talked all kinds of crap cuz the band went on late. and they all claimed it was axl, axl axl. well people that were there said, AXL ROCKED IT.

Axl does indeed sound great. His live performances always sounded more "punk" compared to his studio recordings (most of us already know this, but apparently some of us do not).

In any event, this is how he has always performed live. It sounds better than ever.

Yeah... I went to this concert and was satisfied with only seeing AIC and went to the car before GnR FINALLY made their appearance. It was getting really cold and standing for hours on end was a bit too much for my comfort. To make your fans wait like that is not too cool. The group I was with waited for the show but ended up leaving before it was over as well. But, even though I didn't stay to see GnR I was happy with the experience of Monkey Rock and AIC!!!

I was at Sturgis this year and when I heard Guns N Roses was playing I really wanted to go see them. My friends talked me out of it saying they really sucked now. After seeing this video I'm really glad I stayed away. The years have been rough on this guy.

@Mastrfshrmn I was on the sides of the stage, backstage, whatever you wanna call it, and everyone was panicking about technical issues, the sound men, organisation etc. Running around screaming at each other why this and that isn't working anymore.

Security doesn't know what is happening, they just stand there in front of the audience.

Band members started getting really angry with the organisation there for fucking up the technical side which made them go on too late. Axl is blameless.

@Crimee The least they could have done is make an announcement that they were having technical difficulties. GN'R went on 1:57 minutes after Alice in chains left the stage. There is no excuse for throwing beer bottles on the stage. The situation was handled poorly. As for Axl's vocals... It sounded like he had a lot of help and even then it sounded like he was struggling. The band sounded great but you're not getting the personalities from the early days of GN'R. This is Axl w/ a backup band.

The delay was caused by a sound board change out and not axl, read the most recent news reports the organizers updated the info. Axl was ready to go long before the technical crew was.

they have not taken two months off. they have been touring overseas nonstop since february. Axle hasnt sounded this good since the illusion tour period. lets not forget the man turns 49 years old in mid february. most 21 year olds cant sing like this. hell i dont know any. @biiiiirdman Multiple news sources including BBC and MSNBC have REPORTED that it was hacked, the GnR Camp confirmed it hours after it happened. Also, the PROMOTER of Rock And Rev has STATED in an official press release that the DVD production crew was the reason for the delay, not Axl.

Bumbles first few licks of the solo go unheard, meaning he can't hear them in his monitor, the time motion was obviously an indication to the sound guy to hit his volume because he missed the timing
