One reason I love this series is that it makes an effort to try and stray into the "cloudy" parts of history so that events (however unlikely) at least has a chance of actually happening. For instance, the circumstances surrounding Pope Alexander VI (Rodrigo Borgia) was very mysterious; both Cesare and Rodrigo were very ill after a dinner, and while Cesare survived, Rodrigo didn't. Even stranger, his corpse showed extreme decomposition only a few days after dying, suggesting unnatural causes...

At an earlier point in the game you see them kiss very intimately, and he says something along the lines of, once he conquers everything she will be his queen. I'm pretty sure he also gropes her at that point. He also gets ferociously jealous when she has 'secret' lovers (something she does to keep him loyal to her) and will have them killed so that she is only his.

It is also implied, that she does incestuous things with her father; though
