  • They may not be protected by any state but I have one and it is protected by me. He is two years old and is extremely smart, he can talk better than some people. If someone hurt him they would get hurt.

  • What the hell are they rehabilitating a starling for? They are a national pest 20 million strong. Adults may be killed at any time, eggs may be confiscated, and nests may be destroyed. They are not protected by any of the 50 states. And to think that they would have never been In the USA if some Shakespeare enthusists hadn't have released 100 of them in Central Park NYC.

  • @player18792 I have a pet starling, she's wonderful. Just because there are starlings who are invasive, does not mean a life needs to be taken over it. That bird is probably just as wonderful and clever as my bird, who by the way, was actually bred in captivity specially to be a pet. She's zooming around her cage next to me, making little noises. To the poster of the video- good job for helping all birds, not just those who are native, and this is a beautiful specimen.
