worthless video. if you're going to do instruction videos , hold the damn thing in place for more than 2 seconds and don't keep flipping it around. you already had the cord in place as well. waste of time.
@Gronad This told me everything I needed to know. If you couldn't understand it, you're probably not ready to take on this project. And if I'm mistaken and you are an expert, please redirect me to your more helpful videos. All I can seem to find on your channel are videos of a dog.
this guy is good he knows how to teach .. some that have great knpwlege forget that the people that they showing what to do .. dont have any idea what is being said.... jepl
Thanks you!!! I had exactly the same model with a string to be replaced.
I do have a suggestion to make it easier though: After I wound the reel up as
far as it would go and aligned the holes to put the string through, I secured the reel in place with a zip tie so it wouldn't come loose while ran the string through and screwed the assembly back in place and ran the string up the mower handle. THEN I cut the zip tie and let the string get drawn in to the reel. Works great!!!
Cheers Bill =o)

Doesn't work! No tension after winding it. You must be leaving something out.

@minggnim he says you have to pretension it before you insert the rope, he's not leaving anything out your just not following directions.
