  • wow, that's... that's actually a very nice lesson, and it sounds magnificent >.> thanks

  • Hey! I'm learning guitar (just bought my first one a few days ago) and your lessons have helped a lot to demystify linking chords and making them sound good and getting all those passing tones and suspensions so thanks!

  • Thanks for the lesson!!

  • Hey i think ure a realy good teacher but, sometimes i cant follow you, you pick so fast and talk about notes from c to

D and all that. What about a closer look to your left hand and some explaination? I would appreciate that :)

Sry for my bad english im from germany ;)

    Have a nice day ;)

  • amazing. thanks a lot

  • Awesome

  • @FolkGuitarLessons actually you don't hear it you just reading it... :P nooo i'm kiding!!! don't take it personally!! :P

  • nice video thank you it helped me!!

  • @MrStylboy Oh, good! I'm happy to hear that.

  • Thank you very much!!

  • @southern82 You are welcome!! Thank you for watching :)

  • Amazing concept but newbies will need a little more explanation on how you are skipping etc. Enjoyed this lesson!

  • @sudhindrak Thank you, and yes I agree that newbies would benefit from supplemental fundamental lessons. Cheers!

  • buenos es

  • great tutorial man

  • @omarrios80 thanks man

  • Ive been doing this but didn't know why, So now i understand why cord books by artitst sometimes don't make sence if your not that good at score or tabs. I got to say it did help.

  • @Stringyheads That's really good to hear. I'm happy that it was helpful for you. :)

  • Thanks for sending me this video. good lessons.

  • Great lessons man! They helped a lot!

  • @metallicaddicted1 Cool. Right on!

  • You obviously enjoy your music. I don't practice at home (except for working things out). I go to the pub in hippy town Belingen (NSW Aust) and play there and people give me cencouraging comments and make me play better. The people get to hear live music for nothing as well. When we play at home by ourselves, it's a waste of music while people in the pubs listen to canned music. That's wrong!

  • @Justwantahover I agree that its good to share the wealth. It seems to me that there's a positive feedback loop between playing alone and for others. People would probably get bored hearing me running scales or playing difficult passages 100 times over to refine and master it for performance.

  • @FolkGuitarLessons That's where jazz/blues improvising is good (you have to pick your audience). I practice my bues lead and mix it with chords (at random). I do a lot of picking and compose songs and play few covers. I only play what I like and that's easy (but not as easy as country and western). All I know is a few minor7, maj7 and 7th Chords. And the pentatomic scale 5 paterns (and a few wolf notes) and it's all I need to know to party-on. My passion is jazz (cello-built) guitar music.

  • Heyyyy this is the magical thing about U TUBE, channel like yours and good lessons which really help !! Thanks so much :-)) !! And.. Yes I agree with you, Justin Sandercoe is the other one for acoustic lessons ;-) !

    Cheers from France

    Nathalie

  • great thanks from Belgium for sharing this beautiful video and for your nice point of view between music and relationship in live, I feel something in common with my way of thinking and if you accept me, it's with pleasure that I join your community.

    friendly yours.

  • @abdounnour Merci pour vos gentils mots, Pierre. Bienvenue!

  • Hey there, and thanks for the invite. I´m looking forward to watching your vids.

  • @Moodo1 You're welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing what you take away form them.

  • A couple of those chord changes sounded like "Genisis" by Richard Thompson...! You should check him out!(If You Already Havent) ! Peace Ye`All !!

  • @auto4union Yes, I love Richard Thompson. Bees wing especially. Peace!

  • Very interesting! Thanks for sharing.

  • @downhill240 I think so too! You're welcome. :^)

  • Classical step up, I had to watch it again, though seemingly simple seems like a lot going on there, must admit that is very clever iway to bring out the harmonies. Closely related is the key to connect! Many thanks

  • @stevalianarbone Yeah, I think this lesson holds the payload. Simple in principle, yet wide in implication! Thanks for listening. :)

  • Nice!! Going to try this one out.

  • @myibmaccount Right on!!
