@komedyking01 Because the draft was so shit that Orton and Christian were the only two superstars on Smackdown who could really contest for the titles. Mark Henry and Sheamus are midcarders at best. If Christian was going to have a longer reign, he wouldn't be facing much. Orton is the best on Smackdown, and so he is the champion. Simple as that.

Rationally he is, yes. But performance-wise, Orton is not exactly at the top, even if he is still good.

But Christian is the full package of quality performance. Excellent in-ring work, persuasive mic skills, and the most charasmatic wrestler in the WWE as of now. And they can't let him go over Orton just for a while???
