sc1 sucks, i dont know why its more overrated than sc2! i mean the graphic suck! (its a old game but still, i dont like it), but the worst part was that the units got very horrible pathfinding compare to sc2!!, and the macro system was just horrible,, can only mark 12 units instead of 255 and mark only 1 building at a time?! thats the reason why SC1 SUCKS!! also some of the units like reaver (altho i liked it,,) and zerglings were way to op!!

SC1 is great because it´s very fast, very balanced and had lots of GREAT units like the one you said , reavers, arbiters, defilers, scouts, etc ... just because we are in 2012 and SC2 exists (I play SC2 a lot nowadays) doesn´t mean that the previous games suck ... cause they don´t. 4 Pool = with only 4 "supplies" worth of units on the field, he build a spawning POOL. same with 6 pool, 8 pool, etc. Spawning pools let you build attacking units. Proxy is when you place a building specifically hidden from the enemy, like a base in the corner of the map, or a barracks building near the enemy base where he hasn't seen it.
