@whowouldreallywinrap Shock G was closer to Pac during the DU days. After that, when Pac got on Thug Life, they didn't see each other as much. If you go listen to an interview with Big Syke, who was tight with Pac throughout most of his career (which you can tell because he's on so many of his tracks), you'll see that the Biggie Smalls Tupac is talking about is another friend of his who died in the early 90s. I even remember a video of Pac in the studio pointin to a random guy and sayin Biggie.

He is not talking about the death of The Notorious B.I.G, there was a rapper named biggie smallz from la who he is singing about when he was killed in 94'. Biggie changed his name from biggie smalls to The Notorious B.I.G because of the similar names.

Reasoning:
Tupac was shot 5 times including 2 to the head on Nov. 30 1994.
2nd verse Pac says "2 to the dome". Referring to the 2 shots that grazed his head.
His jail sentence was from February 7th to Oct. 30th 1995
Stretch, the other rapper in the song died Nov. 30 1995.
Tupac & Stretch had a falling out while he was in jail. So it was recorded before his jail sentence.

Although some do believe that it may be a clue that hes alive because this song was released after his death. That may not be the case though. BIGs hit was the real setup out of the 2s deaths. A black man called to BIG, and he wound down his window. A landcruiser did a u turn and blocked BIGs car at the lights. Then the killer pulled up and unloaded, then both vehicles escaped with BIG dead. Count the shots in the door and recall 4 hit BIG fatally in his chest.
