His fatal error in maintaining an optimum level of health was his insistance in using acyclovir -a drug to combat HIV -however it also kills health cells in the body and he became seriously immune compromised. A great shame-if he had chosen a healthy diet -no alcohol/wine, proper rest and sunshine he might still be with us. He has been a great loss to the world.

That is indeed the real Nureyev. And the Muppet Show was intended to be family-friendly. Kids and adults alike loved it. You have to remember this was back in the late 70's, early 80's. The sauna skit wouldn't have been seen as risque then (mainly because for a little while, the country wasn't quite as uptight).
