+Instead of watching Twilight, The Day After Tomorrow, Exterminator, Da Vinci Code. I decided to watch documentaries from BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, History, and from other sources.

+Instead of reading books of Astrology, Harry Potter, Comic books from Marvel, DC. I decided to read Non-Fiction[Zoology, Sociology, Astronomy, Biology, Geography, etc]

This kind of movement is one of the many that will help us achieve the Utopia status we all need.

But I disagree in some ways. We really don't need Hollywood movies. I haven't watched a single movie from Hollywood since when I was eight yrs young.

What we really need to watch and fight for is educational entertainment, Educational documentaries. Those are the kind of things we need to put to our minds to be less ignorant, cruel, etc.

I highly doubt TPB is closing. There are other good p2p networks out there. TPB is a very very good sharing network. Probably the best IMO.

@KutViZ As you said this a year ago you certainly were right, and with the constant threat that TPB would be shut down pretty much everyone has found back up torrent sites. Seeing as how long TPB has been in commission it would certainly be sad to see it go, but it really wouldn't change all that much.

Copyright and distribution are two different things. The copyright is there to make sure that someone else doesn't take credit for all of your work; a person can still share copyrighted stuff as long as they don't claim it as their own.

If that's the standard of filmmaking people want, they can keep stealing pirated movies b/c that poor quality is eventually what they will get.

Piracy is not a problem; it is a symptom that somehow, somewhere, the system has failed. People are not willing to pay absurd amount of money so a director can win yet another million, while someone on the bottom of the movie production food-chain can win a little more than the minimum wage so one they can pay their tuition fees. People are tired of products that have been marketed into segments that only follow variables that matters to the companies: milk the cash cows as much as they can!
