Dead Prez is exactly right. In the USA, fighting against the system means having solidarity with our country's oppressed classes. Some of us have white skin, but we're all Africans. Most of us were born here in the USA, but we've all inherited a nation built on slavery, and none of us is free. Yet.

its cool to be color blind but don't ignore the opression that people of color suffer through, and don't deny it. Becuase that isn't being color blind. Being color blind means you decide rather to associate with someone based on their character and personality, and who they are as a human. When race comes into the mix of who they are as a human you fail at being color blind.
