@graffitikingE3 I liked 'um. But I found they got floppy with no ankle support after 8 months or so. Not sure If the newer models addressed this problem or not. I'm on Aragon 3's right now. But I did like my Remz while they lasted
@sarovan555 Hey! Thanks man. Style is style. You don't force it it just happens naturally. A few things that help are having a bend in your knees, skating fast and jumping onto your grinds (not stepping on with one foot followed by the next.) Don't worry about how you look, just build up your trick vocabulary. That's something I still need to work on, especially switch tricks.
Yeh! New subscriber!! It's cool man. I was 18 when I made this video, so since then it's been about 14 years or so. Nothing special to show for it. Just fun to do. What about you?
@IISKETCHII 3 years or so... An I'm still crap o.0 but yah... got the 0801's myself xD was gunna get the 0802's but they weren't in my size ah well :D
the only thing i can say is that you shouldent go down so much at landing, makes it look like your straning when the grinding you make it look so easy to do. keep rollin
nice rail. i was really impressed with 1:10. haha im gonna order the os3s. i think these were the best looking skates out there, but their sold out everywhere i went.
yea 9 and up is good but i guess u dont have these because u asked this question around these times i would suggest going with some os3's or some valos maybye, maybye even if u are a beginer some xjados
I kept everything just like it was straight out of the box at first. And if the buckles had not snapped off (twice, after I bought replacements) then I wouldn't be on my current setup, haha: Removed the broken buckles and receiver from the cuff and replaced them with the velcro straps instead. to keep the ankle more secure (because if you skate as much as i do, the boot does get a little floppy after 4-6 months or so)
has anyone ordered skates from theskateshoponline??? cause i ordered my skates 6 days ago and still says they havent shipped and now it wont let me log into my account

I've never skated freestyle frames before, but i'v always wondered what they'd feel like on ledges. Don't like the 0803's though? Eh, I guess you're lucky to have the OS's to fall back on ;)
Remz are a bit heavy I suppose, but i've never had a problem with skate weight before. I don't notice a difference in style/ability based on weight. But I LOVE their size, haha.
ya for me i find that skate weight affects the feel of jumping. like with my 0803 i feel like it takes more strength to jump high as opposed to other skates ive had in the past
Eh, i think imma pick up some Icon 2's for my next pair. I love Remz but i've never skated Razors before.
If you want that rail you need to pick up a 2"x12"x10' piece of wood, a 1.5"x10' PVC pipe, some screws, some lag bolts, and some scrap wood to make supports. I built this from the ground up.
Not entirely. Remz soul plates are very roomy and large but the negative side is actually pretty narrow. If i were to try a neg. makio now in the condition my skates are, i'd basically hafe to break my knee over the rail just to stay locked. But then again i don't do a lot of negative tricks so im not all that bothered by it.
Cool cool man....I'll make sure to post this beat I'm workin' on now. I've only just recently (within the past 2 weeks) been messing around in FL, but the software has been relatively simple to pic up. Just a matter of creating a melody worth listening to ;) Haha.
This was my first pair of Remz, so the only thing i have to compare them to are my RB Alpha 3's. And that's a HUGE difference. I've put on my A3's from time to time and the Remz liner feels like squishy pillows, while the Alpha's feel like cardboard. The only thing I'd say (and it could have just been my pair) but the tongue part kind bit into my leg on the inside of both skates, so make sure to wear long socks and you're fine.
They were wearing down on the inside from all my skating. So i took 'um off and flipped 'u around so they would wear down a bit more even on the other side. I do this once every two weeks or so, or when i see that one side is wearing more than the other.
nyc vid m8 :) j.w did u make the rail in ya vid ???? if ya did how did ya cuz i wana 2 practice on my blades nd i cba 2 buy a rail so how did ya make that if ya did ?
Hey man. I can't be sure. I don't know if the open shell is as flexible as the team Remz. My guess is no, so you might not even notice a huge transition from Razors. But i could be wrong. I haven't skated either. All i know is i bought the 0802's after having Rollerblade A3's and there was a MASSIVE difference in feel/comfort. I think you'll be fine though. I'm thinking about buying some Icons or Gens after these Remz are shot. But that could be a while ;)
You don't really need a video. I just used a 10' 1.5'' PVC pipe from a local hardware shop for like 6 bucks, a 10'x12'x1'' plank i got at Home Depot for like 14-15 bucks, a bunch of 3'' screws, 7 3'' lag bolts, and some scrap wood lying around my dad's work bench for the cross beams and triangle supports. Basically make sure you drill a big enough hole in the top of the PVC so that the lag bolts can fit through, but a smaller one on the inside that'll go into the board.
If you REALLY need a video I'll make one when I make my next rail, and FIX this one so I can have 20 feet instead of ten. That might help more for both of us ;) Haha
hahahaha sure i guess, i think i'll be able to figure it out. i mean i'm just gettin my first skates soon, and just startin out and thinkin this is pretty sick as a practice rail. It's not like ive never skated before, ive known how to since i was 5, just never aggressive. I'm pumped! :D
Not entirely no. But defiantly more than straight up hard shell boots like Razors. Depends what you're looking for in a skate. But Remz aren't built for beginners, even I had to get used to them for the first week.
I had downtown 1's a hwile back and from what i can see compared to the DT 4's, RB changed up their liner and soul plates. But that's about it. I can say first hand though after Having skated Rollerblade brand skated for 7 years and then swtiching to Remz, the comfort level is absolutely amazing. It feels so stiff in my old Downtowns now.
And yes. Don't even ask, if it's a white skate, it WILL get dirty. But who cares? I could honestly say if they feel good, ill skate in anything.
Haha, thanks man. Yeh, those are 11's, and I wear a size 11 shoe (I CAN wear a 10-10.5, but i choose to buy 11's). But that's another reason why I like the Remz look, because they appear a lot bigger/bulkier than they actually feel. If you want a narrower looking skate go with Razors or USD's
If I understand you right, i flipped my wheels because they were getting worn on one side....so i rotate them to get even wear and prolong the life of the wheels
i dont know why but i like this edit a lot. you have really good style, you probably already know that but sometimes you need reassurance haha. nice job man
no i just have 2 pair of skates, and my remz are really tore up so i use those for street. I use my razors for park because they dont get as messed up since the ground is smooth and not rough
what awesomeness said. you really don't want to learn to skate on remz if these are your first pair. they're extremely flexible and only more so over time (almost had 'um two months now)...get a hard shelled boot like razors or a sturdy beginner skate like the TRS series if you're new to this sport
i know you already got a lot of good advice but i would recommend USD thrones because they are not beginner skates, but beginners can use them. they are sturdy and well made. once i started hitting topside grinds and such i bought some remz because they flex a lot
Only 10 feet...untill i replace the PVC pipe on this one (it's cracking hardcore on top...i'v tripped sooooo many times on it now) and build a completely new one to match this. Then i'll have a good 20 feet to play with
how should i do them up becausse i dont know if i have them too tight or not?

What are they good for? Beginners, intermediates, or advanced skaters?
WhatDaDunk 3 years ago
advanced
awsomeness78 3 years ago
Thanks, they look pretty tyte but too bad its for advanced though. Do you skate?
WhatDaDunk 3 years ago
yea i skate. i have a pair of razors icons. i use those for park and i use remz 0703 for street
awsomeness78 3 years ago
So sometimes you use different skates for different areas?
WhatDaDunk 3 years ago
no i just have 2 pair of skates, and my remz are really tore up so i use those for street. I use my razors for park because they dont get as messed up since the ground is smooth and not rough
awsomeness78 3 years ago
what awesomeness said. you really don't want to learn to skate on remz if these are your first pair. they're extremely flexible and only more so over time (almost had 'um two months now)...get a hard shelled boot like razors or a sturdy beginner skate like the TRS series if you're new to this sport
IISKETCHII 3 years ago
Alright, thanks man.
WhatDaDunk 3 years ago
i know you already got a lot of good advice but i would recommend USD thrones because they are not beginner skates, but beginners can use them. they are sturdy and well made. once i started hitting topside grinds and such i bought some remz because they flex a lot
nlindseightynine 3 years ago
Wow man, every video is awesome. That hurts though when you fall on your hands :X
BrandtInline 3 years ago
Yeh my wrists are pretty banged up...think it's time i invest in some wristgards
IISKETCHII 3 years ago
Haha yea, i hate falling on them because I ALWAYS fall on them when i fall. Now they like always hurt.

how long is the rail
HitMan1263 3 years ago
Only 10 feet...untill i replace the PVC pipe on this one (it's cracking hardcore on top...i'v tripped sooooo many times on it now) and build a completely new one to match this. Then i'll have a good 20 feet to play with
IISKETCHII 3 years ago
my is also remz 08 two
you are very good
zace1988 3 years ago
Thank You! My Chinese is very bad, but i watched your videos and you are good too
IISKETCHII 3 years ago
makio ;) gotcha
IISKETCHII 3 years ago
no problem...i have a 6 foot rail too if that's what you're using so we can make this as fair as possible
IISKETCHII 3 years ago
fine by me...whatever you think is fair game. you got first trick ;)
IISKETCHII 3 years ago
