If your dinner guests gets choked some bony fish you served and dies, did you commit a crime?
The correct answer is: No, but, criminal charges would be filed by someone needing an accounting for the death, and you would be found guilty of manslaughter, and sentenced to 50 years in prison!
With all honor, love, respect and sorrow for families and the ones who went beyond this horrible world, James Ray is one of my greatest personal heroes. His inspirations and teachings, along with other Master Teachers of this planet changed my life in the most wonderful of ways. I am hurt and angry, not at James, but by ignorant people and cruel police and authorities treating him like a piece of shit in jail and with the threat of prison. I know a man's spirit and I know this is not right!.
If the County really wanted to do something about this, they should arrest James Auther Ray, charge him with murder X3, then let the justice system do course. I would love to be there to be part of this court proceeding and also help find this man responsible for his actions. This man has no right to run any of the mentions ceremonies, nor a vision Quest. He is not any Sha'man in any rite, not *right. So he Again needs to be held accountable for all of the actions of him self, and face murder...
Really sad. I am a native american and the tradition of sweat lodges are to be taken very seriously. These dwellings have
caused deaths during native ceremonies. The construction
is always well planned and uses natural materials to prevent off gassing of man-made materials. It could create a toxic shock, especially if the heat and RH are extreme.
Sweat lodges should only be practiced by natives and
led by shamen. Im so sorry that this had to happen.
agreed sweats should only be attended by natives, curious what tribe you are, with your 'shamens', i am full blood Comanche and my husband is full blood Dine' my sister married a Lakota, and

It's a terrible tragedy. God Bless all involved.
I like James A. Ray's videos. I hope he's able to continue on with his work, but first they need to figure out what went wrong.
