  • this technic is really bad.. there is a technique called "cat leap" search for it.. and remember to use your feet too ! it helps a lot and its more faster..

  • Well this would be good to start.. but the ancient ninja in fudel korea and japan.. Would train to hold on to a building with only their hands.. and stay there for hours... Say there were samurai beneith them talking and the ninja was in mid climb.. he would stay so he was not seen.. But this is a good start im glad some people are still practicing the fundamentals.

  • you wanna train a jump hang [which mountain climbers do a lot / not ninjas]

    1. buy a pair of hand grip thingies

    2. use them, doing as many reps till you fail in each hand

    3. do wide grip pull ups

    4. do close grip pull ups

    5. do medium grip chin ups

    6. do crunches to fail

    7. do obliques to fail

    do this work out every other day for about 4-6 months. I guarantee you'll be able to jump hang without a 2nd thought, and shimmy up a pole easily.

    This is a very old video of my early training and I've improved a lot since then. I now have a pair of hand grips, and my full body workout routine includes a large variety of different kinds of pull and chin ups as well. I also do varieties of push ups, dips, squats, abs work, etc. Thanks again for taking the time to share your advice fellow Ninja!

B: You hang off a net and either climb over and roll down or, get under it by compresssing your body as close to the net as possible, this is more like third stage material; although it fits no real obstacle. Pipe slider maybe? Seeing as how you have to hang for a bit...
