I know that this video is literally YEARS old =P but since Baldr is my patron god i feel the need to help you. Name, Baldr not Brom. Plant, Mistletoe not holly. no hate alll luvvv!!! <3 =)
@MoonRiseWolf Wicca is basically a nature based spiritual path and if you are a solitary wiccan [not in a coven] then yes please make it be whatever feels right to you. Wicca can be monotheistic or polytheistic but most Wiccans choose to honor a spcific God and Goddess as their "patron" God and Goddess. There is no such thing as a Wiccan who is also an Atheist. An Atheism is the absence of a religion and Wicca is recognized as a religion. They probably meant that they were atheists and practice
@MoonRiseWolf ...and practice witchcraft. Not all Wiccans practice witchcraft or magic or cast spells but most do. Atheists, Christians, Jews, Catholics, Muslims, can all practice witchcraft. Anyone who is interested in magic and spell crafting can look into it and practice it. If you are looking into Wicca because of the magic and witchcraft aspect you might want to re-evaluate what you want out of it because Wicca is not all about magic, it is about the path and the spiritual peace you find
it's mistletoe btw... XD Similer ways to find loki... I had dreams, nightmares, but there were no rooms, i'd suddenly like... fall back into my bed (that's what it felt like anyways) and hear laughing as if i had been just yanked out of the dream and dropped back home just for someone to see me crawl under my bed. I didn't have a random book fall open but all of a sudden norse mythology, specifically loki, was EVERYWHERE. mine wasn't as scarry as yours, I feel lucky.

Paganism and Norse mythology is a way for Caucasoids (nerdy Caucasoids specifically) to find racial-pride and feel less shitty about themselves. It's stupid and childish. You're not a faggy WN, you're an ugly Mexican Mongoloid, so quit being a little child.
@ZydrateAddict1023 lol what SerbiansareTrash is talking about is how the Nazis took over our ansestors runes and symbols and used a whole bunch of our stuff as really really bad things. Many people take Asatru as a rasist group when we're not and SerbiansareTrash dosn't research into shit like they should. There is no racial Pride involved in paganism or norse mythology. Just iggy them.
@DarkNekoXIII Asatru is about racial pride but not in a racist since but and ancestral sense, it is to honour our heritage, and the blood past down that we share wit those who fought face to face with sword in hand to make sure we made it to were we are now.
@SerbiansareTrash Now a message for this ass, norse mythos is for the white race yes, see me in person I'll show you what this nerd can do, all races have pagan roots, If you are black what is what sound like than that is Santeria if you are a Jew then you are a thief and have no racial heritage that said, Unless you want large Norse heathens oh sorry wait nerdy Caucasoids beating your ass i suggest you educate yourself.
Having a trickster in your life can balance emotions and energy in a major. Your havin a great life and suddenly you spill milk. If your at a time in your lif and you need a little comedy (dark/black comedy) then ask Loki or other tricksters to help out. BB x
Just a little thing to know, Loki, as your chosen god, is a great personality to look to when you need help. Loki is a trickster, like the coyote from Native Indian tales. He doesn't mean to cause harm all the time, but its to teach individuals - in a weird way. Like, if you did a spell or a prayer to him for answers to, um... money issues. He plays with u, u'll end up spending the money and then he'll drop u the answer after the diaster. He laugh, u'll suddenly realise, u should have saved it!
No one really thinks Loki was the head of a pantheon thats Frey, Njord and Freja. Baldr wasn't a jesus figure, holly wasn't the plant that killed Loki mistletoe was. Loki wasn't a figure of evil, change or chaos as joy described he could better be described as a divine dick and finally Loki wasn't a hanged man Odin was.
no not the head of the norse pantheon because he;s taked on with the blood brother people think he was head of a pantheon of gods BEFORE the norse pantheon and kinda assimilated to make those worshippers a little mor complient lol thats all i am saying and yes he was chained to a rock with a snake dripping venom on his genitals ^_^ but thank you for your comment
if you think about it he could be described as a jesus figure (baldr ) in a literary sense and thank you for the correction i was doing off the top of my head and got confused ^_^ its alwasy nice to see some one well versed in their mythology
well holly is always mentioned in the same sentence as mistletoe by christians so its an easy mistake but no one has proposed a real theory about Loki being the head of a pantheon before the norseman took over i have heared theories proposing that Tyr was a head god and that Freyja Frey and Njord along with several other un-named Vanir held a more prominent role if you know the name of the anthropologist who proposed that theory id like to read his work
i think he might of just been a more prominent figure and spoke wrong by saying he was the head ^__^ thank you for the correction i added them in some notes and also added a link toa podcast you might like that goes over asatru and alot of
most likely but i through that in for people not familiar with the stories or my religion thus making it a little bit more "OH! okay i get it now" lol
Great video. I agree with a lot of your perceptions of Loki. He is often thought of as evil, but I think it is a misconception - he is pure chaos. He is not my patron deity, but definitely one I am very respectful towards!
The God's name is Baldor not Brom.
