  • whats been done to it

  • god, that car looks good in EVERY color

  • wow! who would figure they cost that much buy a miata they look better the price is better and as far as durability and maintenece and prices for prts the miata wins if you want to empress a female with this car because of your lack of genitals size go for it

  • Cheap flyby by the cadillac.

  • nice car :PP

  • what exhust are you running in it? I have an auburgine exige, thinking about changing the exhust on it to something with a bit more F1 sound.

  • I just bought a 2010 S260 (loaded) for around $90k

  • I see a very nice orange one everyday. It is such an amazing vehicle and the handling of it is like that of no other car I have ever seen. Awesome video!

  • It would be interesting if this exige had the same horsepower as the cadillac.. what would happen to the cadillac LOL

  • Where was this filmed? Some of the areas reminded me of Missouri

  • that thing is mean soundin... this guy that live by me has an elise and that thing is an animal! i cant imagine what 60 extra hp that the exige has must sound like

  • One of the world's best sportscars.

  • @CammieGee and one of the cheapest to run :-)

Doesn't need much fuel because of it's weight....and the sound is :P

  • @Racersbase Exactly! apart from its outstanding performance, which puts it in league with any supercar, its price makes it one that mere mortals like me can actually aspire towards owning. Its small engine, light weight and therefore relatively low fuel consumption means you can enjoy its performance and still be environmentally responsible. It's the win-win supercar.

  • @CammieGee Yeah I heard they get like 27 mpg highway

  • i wonder how often that exige gets followed around lol

  • badass colour i like it

  • out of all the sporty cars... where does the lotus rank ? is it close to the maserati ? or lower ? is it considered a sexy luxry car or is it just a mockery of good luzury sports cars like ferrari ?/

  • well the cheapest lotus elise is $46,000

  • It's considered a street-legal go kart by some, by others its a street-legal race car. It offers little to no luxury. They keep up with porsches, ferrari's, lambo's.

  • Why must you ask when it's really up to you? are you so insecure with your judgment that you need to ask somebody else what to think? Your question is why idiots flourish.

Go out, test drive a few cars and find out for yourself or research its Nürburgring lap times & reviews.

Don't make your opinions others. Be a Man.

  • buddy i dont giva fck about others OPINNIONS, im asking about GENERAL RANKINGS cus i duno about this car so im trying to figure our where it ranks in that sense... i myself drive a volvo xc90. like i drive what i like i jus wanna know its position, dontmake assumptions.

  • You are still asking the same question & it's difficult to answer.

All I can tell you is that the car handles really good however generally speaking its certainly no Corvette or Ferrari. The Lotus Elise is more less in that performance bracket. but if you are looking for a quick good handling nicely styled, enjoyable car with bare bones amenities. it's a nice choice.

  • Pretty much the Lotus cars are really light so they have excellent handling. The Exige and the Elise don't have much space but the evora does. Even with the supercharged versions they still dont have much horsepower. Also people say it's a "fun" car, but that's pretty obvious lol.

  • uhm if i get what you mean as in "rankings"

civilized driveing- a fairly econmic car it get a verry fair ammount of mpg for the type of car it is if im correct the best for any type of track car but when you leav the smooth roads you may find yourself fairly uncomfortable depinding how rough the roads are and people over fair ammount of size finds the seats a little to small for there likeing and wouldnt prefer a passenger with them..but it your small like the car you will love it for its

  • simple yet good working accesories... sometimes you may have trouble hearing the music thats playing due to low sound blocking

track and preformace users- id say one the best cars you can get for cornering and verry awesome acceleration but due to its low hp doesnt like the straight aways to mutch but who needs speed when your going 10mph faster around corners... nothing really but abs makes the car as responsive as you are and id say if you this type of person its a must get im outa roomnow

  • it is great to see Lotuses in the U.S. traditionally the home/ final destintion of so many British sports cars. Shame you didn't get the first Exige which looked more aggressive than the series two.

  • how much is a lotus

  • An Exige like this usually sell for around $70,000...but the one in this video has some added $ upgrades.

  • new lotus elise is $46,000

  • @teamwavez101 You can get a used one with low miles for 50k I see them go for. You'll save a shit load of money which if, if you choose, you can use on upgrades. That's what I'd do.

  • @teamwavez101 I bought a 2010 Exige S260 last Summer. With tax it came to about 90k U.S.

  • Nice spotting Brian!!! Keep up the great spotting work!!

  • I want one of those sooo bad!!! Ill just have to get a S2000 instead.

  • I sold my 2005 Honda S2000 to get a 2005 lotus elise, and let me tell you - the S2000 is one amazing car. It's hard to compare the two, but I can say that I had 95% of the fun I have in the lotus in the S2000.

    I'd buy another S2000 in a heartbeat. :)

  • This is a hot little car. I love the look of it and Ive heard its as close as it gets to driving a go kart on the road. Although I'm sure its considerably faster...

  • what kinda car do u drive brian?

  • i love the exige body kit

  • i agree

    really nice colour

  • That car is amazing First car I'd buy if I got rich I love the handling.

  • You don't have to be rich to buy that car it's only $60,000

  • If you don't mind buying used, a 2005 Lotus is going for $25-30k these days. Great value for a truly sporty, raw driving experience.

  • è una eclipse cojone

  • sir mix alot lives in a town close to me and i see him driving his dark green one occassionally.

  • I saw a lime green one of these the other day. Very cool car. AWESOME VID BRIAN! 5 stars.

  • what a accellerating sound i love that car NICE cool vid from the car 5 stars

  • Magnificent colour! Looks awesome on this car

  • it's not colour, it's color

  • Shut the fuck up. Lotus is a British car manufacturer and Colour is the correct English spelling. Color is the dumbed down way of spelling in AMERICAN ENGLISH.

  • manufacturer? spelt that wrong too dumb brit

  • ohh you need a dose of Clarkson to set you straight..

  • good reply=))))))))

manufacturer? spelt that wrong too dumb brit

    no, is not

in the english language "color" is spelt "colour"

    and "manufacturer" is spelt "manufacturer"

    now whos dumb?

  • Really cool car!

  • they're considered small on UK roads... love to see in person on US roads...must look lost lol... gorgeous handling cars, should see the vid on Top gear where they outrun an apache helicopter i think!!

  • out manueveur, but same thing. except the heli had to stay with in the confines of the track which makes it unfair. unbelievably cool looking though. hahah. but yea, these cars are small. it's a 2 seater with a 4 cylinder engine in the back of it so it doesn't need much room at all. and it weighs 1700 pounds. pretty light for a car that is street legal. (airbags and all)

  • another dam.
