  • In case it hasn't been stated before. The Sig P226 and P229 22LR's don't lock back because the magazine doesn't have the follower in it to hold the slide back. You can actually buy a different follower though that will lock the slide back.

  • Good vid. looking at getting a Sig P226LR for training purposes and upgrading later.

    Thanks for the info

  • Nice 22 lrs

  • doe a glock that fires 9 or 10mm have the capability to switch to a 22lr??

  • but for the price of a conversion kit for a glock you can just go to a gun shop and buy a 22

  • why would you even want a pussy ass twenty two

  • @PinoyYounGster9deuce practice, pussy ass? they can still kill man lol. some pussy huh?... atleast when you want to shoot you can go out and shoot a whole day and only spend $15 dollars on ammo.

  • where did u get a od green lower for a glock 22 >?

  • it doesnt seem the same watching a gun review without sum1 saying get raped

  • on the sig conversion the slide does not stay back ...good vid man

  • I had no idea you could get .22LR conversion kits. This is awesome!!! Especially with the price of ammo being what it is. I want one now!!!

  • sir, you get ten points. that's how you shoot a glock.

  • wow.. watching this made me not like the sig version at all.. round wouldnt strike, wont lock back on an empty mag.. phoey.

  • do they make double stack for the .22?

  • @siralexu

No, the rims on the .22 don't do too well in double stack mags

  • @GunWebsites oh alright thanks for clearing that out man it would be so awesome to have a double stack

  • SIG SUCKSS!!! GLOCK RULES !

  • damn man yout hand dont even budge to the recoil

  • What type of grips are on the SIG?

  • r some glock 26s auto

  • @MrHalo3elite

no there is only one full auto Glock.. the 18

  • @GunWebsites What brand of conversion kits are these?

  • @MrHalo3elite Only factory full auto Glock is the model 18, however you can buy a legaly converted model in every model, so yes some Glock model 26's are fullauto...if they were converted.

  • Is the advantage arms conversion the one tested in this video?

  • is it just me or id the sig seem very unreliable? glocks all the way bitches

  • my friend fried 30 rounds through his new glock 17 and it already jammed

  • my friend drove his new ford only 13 miles and it got a flat tire

  • Well played sir...well played :D

  • @GunWebsites goes to show why you shouldn't invest in a glock nor a ford. Taurus all the way!

  • @kustom56merc

    Enjoy them

  • @kustom56merc Doesn't Ford make Taurus? I know, I know... but you did word that kinda funny.

  • @CovertOpsProductions you shouldn't fry your bullets duh...

  • @CovertOpsProductions it takes time for it too loosen up.. it prolly needs more oil.

  • sig conversion just like a regular sig, an expensive piece of crap. Glock all the way over the sig. That being said, 1911 over them all.

  • I had a ciener conversion for for Beretta 92...it wore out the lower frame rails. Never again will I use a conversion unless it's on a dedicated lower.

  • interesting, I haven't heard of that happening

  • How reliable is the Glock conversion? When I get my CCW through I'll want a cheap way to practice. I was going to get a Kel Tec, Walther or SIG in .22 but if the Glock conversion is reliable I'll get that instead!

  • keep it oiled and clean and it works great

  • great vid thanks very informative and just so u know the sig dosent lock back after the last round there is a fix for that but its aftermarket

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, Your opinion is hated! :O

  • how about I won't bother you, and you quit telling me what to do on my video?

  • Using a .22 conversion allows one to maintain the same trigger pull and functionalities thus providing a great training opportunity (assuming it is on your carry gun). As seen in the video, .22 conversions can be unreliable. I too like this aspect as it adds to the training aspect of clearing a jammed firearm. Just my 2 cents.

  • good point..

  • LOL go buy that buckmark for target practice.. these uppers are hardly used for 'target practice'

  • For what the sig conversion costs, it had better lock the slide back on the last shot. Otherwise the designer is an asshole and I would never buy it.

  • Hmmm.. I did a 9mm conversion for my Glock 23 I just order the barrel and a couple of magazine. MMM.. Cool video tho

  • good video nice comparison

  • thanks

  • perfect im going 4 the glock..cause i want a 40 or 45 cal...great vid

  • .22 lr kits are excellent for shooting tons of ammo, while building muscle memory with the pistol.

  • Thanks for the video. Im not wasting my hard earned cash on a .22lr kit. Ill just buy a Ruger MKIII.

  • have fun cleaning it. I got one and its a great gun but man make sure the kids are in a different room when you clean it cause they mite come out dropping f bombs and other creative words

  • hey thats my favourite lane!

i like it because i can shoot my 22lr rifle and not hit anyone with my brass

  • Don't like the way he grips that glock... =/

    *****

  • why is that?.. and who do you mean?

two of us are shooting in this one

  • I think he is talking about how high his thumbs are on the slide. But you got to do what works best for you and your shot

  • as far as ive seen the .22 semi auto always has 10 rounds(the regular magazine not extended or anything) why do the only go up to ten round

  • LOL, I thought this would be at a nice quiet spot, and I heard a handgun discharge, I had my volume up quite a bit, and it scared the crap out of me. LOL!!

    Sorry, I just woke up.

  • Doh.. sorry about that

our range is getting more busy each week, so the other shots are getting worse

You can see we get there early and try to go all the way to the wall, but so many other shooters show up that we get people shooting near by

  • Great Vid :O)

with the Price of Ammo today

the .22 kits are going to be your Best Friend at the Range.

  • I am sooo happy I bought mine back when I did

  • I hear that, even the price of .22 is going up, up, and up :O(

  • What are the prices up to on a glock 23 conversion kit? I'm so glad I subscribed to this channel.

  • unless a large markup, they run around $250-ish

  • you guys seem to be having a lot of malfunctions with that sig kit. is that typical? I have a P220 and was thinking about getting the .22 kit for it.

  • we didn't lube it up, and the ammo was pretty old.. so I can't blame the kit for those.. the Glock kit also has malfunctions though

  • What ammo ammo was being used? I know when i had my AA conversion it did not like the Federal Bulk pack from walmart. It ran fine with the Remington bulk pack. Also CCI minimags worked great also.

  • For this test we used some old stuff (don't remember the brand) old, but clean looking, copper washed

The stuff in the yellow plastic box on the table is Remington I think, but I ripped the sticker off a while back

  • Is there one for g33. ???

  • What is the price on the Glock Kit and where can I buy it?

  • $250+ usually and they are pretty hard to find

  • Do you or anyone else know where i might be able to pick one up? I havnt seen em on any sites or catalogs so please let me know. Thanks

  • I've seen them places online like impact, but they are listed as "not in stock"

  • Can you put up a vid on the gsg 1911 in 22lr. I figure you might get it before the rest of us and im dying to see how it runs

  • ya the sig kits dont lock back, still good though.
