Wow!!!!! Alicia and Sade together, that is great!!!! Two beautiful woman singing together. But the pregnancy doesn't help to Alicia when she sings. She sing good with Sade, but it was her pregnancy state that didn't help her. But both have beautiful voices and I like both. I prefer that they sing together when Alicia hasn't a pregnant belly and she can use better her voice. But I enjoy to see both together. I'm a great fan of both.
Alicia takes risks and that is to be admired. Not everything she does is spectacular, but at least she tries. Also it is not easy to sing with a big pregnant belly.

I am No more an Alicia Keys fan but regardless of that I didnt understand why the duet...Sade is completely a solo artist and needs No help from Nobody especially Alicia....she seemed to be struggling...and she doesnt hold a candle to SADE.. Sade is timeless ..class act..

@imagefirst1998 They did this together because Sade was helping to support Alicia's Keep a Child Alive Black Ball event. Sade is an entertainer who Alicia has admired and she asked to sing with her. I thought it was kind of nice. I think they both sound really good. This is just not an AK song and no one is use to hearing her sing it. Still, I think it sounds really good. I don't know why some are so negative about the fact they did a song together. It's beautiful.

I think Alicia Keys is a good musician and singer but Sade is obviously in a class by herself. Alicia keys trying to sing a Sade song alongside Sade is just not right! Come on guys, Alicia keys is NO Sade. This video made that crystal clear!

alicia keys is reputable just like sade and to say she is not like you did then you obviously need to work on your knowledge of these two artists..and talking of comparison you can't because as you said this is sades song,you would expect her to be able to sing it better because it was assigned to her vocals because she made the song,not saying she did sing it better because she only sung the chorus and alica sung the verses.

Why must we put down one singer to praise another? Sade and Alicia Keys have two different voices. Sade's style of singing is smooth, sensual, and unique. Alicia Keys has a nice voice with power behind it. Alicia Keys was pregnant...which hormonally changes your voice. But they are both beautiful, talented singers. Sade looks amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It may be difficult for Alicia to sing Sade.....and I know Sade's voice cannot hit some of the notes Keys sings. Both PHENOMENAL!!!!

Admittedly, Alicia is a great singer, but with her being pregnant... she doesn't sound good. It's not the same. Ultimately, there will never be another Sade... ever!!!

No disrespect to Alicia but Sade should NEVER EVER sing with anyone else cause her voice is on another level from 99.9% of anyone out there. It's her uniqueness that sets her apart. It's like comparing LaBron James to Michael Jordan. One is very very good and the other simply can't be touched....and Sade simply can't be touched.

@stackleft I most definitely agree 99.9%. Even if Alicia was at her best, which in this performance, she was far from even "good", Alicia could not compare. Sade is simply in an entirely different class level - in every aspect. Alicia in her own right, is great... but not Sade GREAT!!!

Alicia sings wonderful on her own stuff. Not on this one. It seems like she can´t hold the long notes. Sade´s style is very often about the long and straight notes. This is hard for RnB / gospel singers, cause they don´t know how to sing without vibrato ... hahaha - good to see.

This was for charity and it was just days before Alicia gave birth, which shows just how dedicated she was and is to this organization. So you know if you can't bare to listen to her then don't. It wasn't done for your benefit. This IS Sade's song, so of course she can sing it better. I think alicia sounds great also. She is a very special lady. <3
