  • @blanckepi One person is terrible but, less chance overseas than in Africa.

  • @Whovian93 enjoy getting raped by a gang of goons, send me a post card.

  • @fullonpsy I wish I would of joined the military rather then the corps atleast I would have had a gun and been able to defend myself

I was robbed at gun point about 30 times in the urkaine corps didn't give a hoot about me

  • mary sue coleman wants everyone to know she thanked jfk

  • Thanks for the tip=).

  • @Aldeberan9 Damn you are ignorant with your narrow-minded conservative beliefs. I am sure that if you were living over in Kazakhstan trying your best to provide for your family.. you would be welcoming the hell out of a Peace Corps volunteer. Its not always about taking a gun to other countries and making war. Sometimes its about making peace and difference. To you it may not be a big difference.. but I am sure that the ones who receive the Peace Corps would say other wise. Damn hick.

  • I am proud America made a good choice, I want to join right out of Highschool if it would be possible.

  • @Runningbeardon you can join when you are 18. I'm planning on joining right after high school too

  • @WestonVonWellington Typically, the Peace Corps wants volunteers to have a 4-year degree. Not all volunteers have continued to secondary education, but most do. Waiting until after college would increase your chances of getting in!!!

  • @Runningbeardon Just so you know, it is a 9 to 12 month process and if I'm correct you need a personal statement, a letter of recommendation and the application of course. But you should definitely do it! I was telling you so you could get started because I don't know where you're at in high school. Good luck :)

  • @XLOVESiTx

pretty much like all federal level jobs that are prestigious to get into. I would say that yes, Peace Corps is a looonggg process. luckily I am almost done. I started in Feb. Got nominated in June, and just sent my medical clearance forms (wasn't able to do it until now just returned from internship in Istanbul) Yea my recruiter pretty much is always having to guess where I'm at. love it. Horse meat is good btw. I lived in kyushu for 2 yrs, and its their specialty. horse sashimi

  • @lordblazer I dont think I would want to go to Japan as a volunteer after hearing about horse meat offered there, according to you. I'm a huge horse lover.
