I have seen them before and know what they were about when I looked them up again. I only looked at the first and its about 8 minutes. And he is srong even before he comes to part 2. Anything else? It doesnt take faith to not believe in god. It takes LACK of faith and belief in evidence and logic.

Here's an honest question: what do you mean when you say that all of the religions/faiths you looked into were wrong? What standard are you judging them by? (and what difference does it really make in the "big-picture" of things?)
Nothing in these religions that has anything to do with god in any form has left a shred of evidence on this planet. All there moral codes and rules stand alone by them self without the support of any divinity. They use morality like its a invention only their religion invented and hold the patent for. I love telling people Im an Atheist, most people I run into are as well. The other are always quick to start asking me stupid questions and Im always just as quick to give them answers that they generally arent smart enough to understand. As for Earthians, it may be possible within 100 years but only if we become much more serious and determined. The problem of protection from harmful radiation is huge, as is the problem of getting people, equipment & supplies far enough fast enough. Then there's muscle atrophy, boredom, etc.

@FactVsReligion I don't know but I think Ur necklace may be some sort of representation of an Ancient Polynesian Oceanic Navigation Device about the size of a 45lp record made out of bamboo that they would hold up at horizon level n by compairing the curves on it to the ocean waves they were able to determine what direction land was in and approximately how far away land is. Atheism isnt a belief. Its a lack of belief without proof. There is also a big difference between an atheist and a strong atheist. Most people have the belief that is most common among them simply because they are tought (indoctrinated) since childhood that it is so and not to question why. I was raised to learn to question and to make my own opinion, and so I did. I have studied christianity, islam, buddhism, judeism, paganism and other religions, and come to the conclusion that they are wrong

I am guessing that you are studying the Christian Bible, so I would like to make this point: Most of the "good behavior" we accept in our culture is largely due to what the Bible teaches. You even inferred a Bible verse when you said "do to others..."(Luke6:31). It does make sense culturally, but not logically.

"Making others happy" isn't really logical if there is no God. Sure, I might be nice to someone for selfish motives, but beyond that, there would be no logical reason. What if it makes me happy to be cruel to others? Nothing wrong with that as long as I can get away with it! (And many do. example: in 2004 in the US over 6000 murders are still unsolved.) You are inferring that there is "ultimate truth" out there, and that's a no-no for an Atheist!

Apple nixed it cause @father contains objectionable content, and @son injects malicious code that makes you unfollow your family & friends if they don't also follow @son, & spams random users with requests to follow @son.

People are forgetful, you seem to have forgotten that the Earth is over 4 billion years old, that all life on our planet is derived from a slow process of genetic evolution, that man created the technology you take for granted daily & is the architect of the changes that have taken place over the past few thousand years. most people say their agnostic so they aren't as looked down upon by the religious communities, and all it's really saying is "hey i'm not athiest but i don't believe in god...i don't think i do anyways.. oh hell i don't know!"

So what's wrong with saying "I don't know" about something, especially something so much bigger than us or our ability to comprehend it. Do you know everything? Do you *know* there is no gawd and have proof of such? No. So stop having faith that there's no god. Become agnostic.

well i'm not going to be agnostic, because i do know that there has been no real proof that there's even a possibility of there being a god. there's things that are presently unexplainable by science, but thousands of years ago, lightning was god because it couldn't be explained. and agnostics, in religeous communities are just about as bad as athiests, because they claim there is a possibility of there not being a god. and there really isn't anything TO comprehend if you're educated enough

I love telling people Im an Atheist, most people I run into are as well. The other are always quick to start asking me stupid questions and Im always just as quick to give them answers that they generally arent smart enough to understand. Its all in good fun, I generally spend more time laughing at creationists then I do speaking to them. So should we all.

As you get busy/popular, you can't keep up; advice:
- Skim!; too busy to skim? Skim what "bubbles up" (rated) towards the top
- Generally give more priority to what's submitted in public, and to responding in public - that generally benefits more folks, and is more efficient (reduces wasted redundancy).

I didn't know how big this "religion" debate was until I stumbled upon it on youtube. The more I see religion, the more frustrated I get with it.

We need more people who are able to combat the ideas that are shoved on us as "normal". Breaking free of the chains of religion would be a huge step forward for all of us. It is going to be a long, hard road.
