@911Smurf that's not true at all, dice has hyped the hell out of BF3. they've made countless comments bashing CoD, bragged about awards and have just been a little arrogant in general. and for example that recent BF3 trailer they used the line "above and beyond the call" and left out the "of duty" part which was an obvious jab at CoD.

CoD gets automatic hype because its incredibly popular, pretty simple. the MW3 trailers have been pretty good so far anyway... take those fanboy goggles off.

Battlefield is a snoozefest. When the game starts it takes about 3 minutes to find anybody, and everyone is prone or camping in a bush. It has a decent spawn system I guess but that's about all that's good about it.
