Close but no cigar! I am from Brisbane where this band comes from! i grew up with a extremely great local music scene from the hardcore, punk, metal, reggae, dub, noise, electronic, rock and so on and so on, from all different genres we had amazing and creative and talented music and we still do! For more insight read Pig City by Andrew Staffor. I am just a little disappointed that out of all the great bands that are from Brisbane, this band is all they can offer commercially.

I think I can have a bitch about that once in a while, as the Brisbane music scene has been a large part of my life! As for conformity, I don't think I mention any thing about conformity. This is mainly because every music scene has a large amount of conformity. Emo music doesn't tweak my nipples much though the old Goth bands like Bauhaus, children of sex, umbre et imago, London after midnight, dreadful shadows etc are pretty good (some can be lyrically corny).

As for Brisbane bands (old and new)- Draft dodger, AIM, Dick nasty, 21 dub street, Gazoonga Attack, Knaw, Godnose, Cursed Earth, black market, Dreamkillers, KT26ers, LYNCHMADA, The Saints are all worth looking at. So Complaining about something that doesn't sit right makes you a loser. So you complaining about me complaining makes you what?
