  • GREAT VIDEO OF ONE OF THE BEST OF ALL TIME Greetings from PERU Pisco

  • EXELENTE VIDEO DE UNO DE LOS MEJORES DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS.

  • I wonder how good he would be if he would bulk up (let's say 3 or 40 kg) and compete in the superheavies.

  • Honestly I was expecting "Lifting Experts" in the comments to criticize how bad his form is...

  • @WishyLH if anyone decides to criticize an olympion they're are so idotic.. hahah

  • 2:40 no lift 3:10 no lift 3:35 no lift

  • @Mrsirflexalotta A succesful clean and jerk requires that the barbell is brought to a complete standstill between the clean and the jerk when it rests on the weightlifter's shoulders. There shouldn't be any motion of the barbell...

  • @BaumerPaulGefreiter They are clearly all good lifts. If you're strong enough to kick the barbell off your shoulders after a clean, use the oscillation. If you get white lights it's good. And no he doesn't always do it; see the 225kg C&J @ 2007 WWC.

  • Too bad he was busted for smoking weeds in 2010 and suspended for six month. Although smoking weeds is not considered a sport enhancement drug and has virtually no effect on his record, nevertheless it will be an asterisk on his career. He is a great athlete but before dupping the best of all times, you should know that Nicu Vlad snatched 200.5 at 100 KG and Alexander popov 242.5 clean and jerk at 100 KG and Yuri Zaghravetch 440 KF total at 100 KG. So the 100 KG records are better than the 105.

  • @khonfosh He couldn't compete at the 2011 worlds, commentator said he was caught using (idk what). Can you enlighten me with some info? Thx

  • @BrentstyleVibes My understanding when he won the 2010 European championship he was tested for a substance and was suspended for six months. They have not disclosed what the substance was, but later Aramnau mentioned they told him he was tested for traces of Cannabis, the medical term for Marijuana. Judjing by the length of the suspension, that would be true. If he was tested for steroids, he would have been suspended for two to four years.

  • vezi sa nu faci pe tine

  • dobry byk :D

  • what a fat motherfucker liftin beast amount, truly a desecent from vanilla gorilla

  • Fuck sake, what a machine!

It seems easier for him than eating a burger for me :-O

  • Aramnau should join the X-Men. He's a MUTANT!

  • Fuck does he get under that bar fast

  • this guy oscillates the bar too much. against the rules

  • @rush2905 Haters gonna hate.

  • I believe Nicu Vlad also snatched 200kg @ 100kg bodyweight.

  • I seriously feel like watching Gladiator every time I watch this.

  • this guy might become one of the greatest of all time. hes not far off from being able to lift as much as the super heavyweights

  • So powerful. I wonder what his max squat must be O_O

  • Comment removed

  • now he is the best

  • Like Alexander Kurlovich...

  • HERNIA DISCAL !!!!!!!!! lol

  • How can somebody so soft be so strong? Dude looks like a teddy bear.

  • Great lifting [and video]. The name of the song is "Now We Are Free" from the Gladiator soundtrack.

  • He demolished 225kg on his first C&J!

  • Very instructive showing differences in build to bodybuilders they look stronger but decisively are not. He seems to have great amount of "nerve strength" resulting in capability way beyond that suggested by appearance. In fact, a physiological marvel. A better specimen of athleticism than anyone from football, baseball, etc.

  • explosive as fuck

  • i thought oscillating the bar was illegal

  • 3:54 when he completes the clean and the bar flies up above his chest about another 5 inches before resting on his shoulders in prep for the jerk is the definition of power!

  • @robbush182 Yeah he's really fast getting up from the bottom squat position, but I have wondered, isn't using the bar elasticity against the rules? He clearly does it on purpose and times the jerk when the bar momentum is coming up. Don't get me wrong, I think it is just plain beautiful and takes some skill, but yet again, do I just remember the rules incorrectly?

  • @epaluoma, when he starts jerking the bar is not oscillate. When he squats down under the bar a little bit faster than it falls and then he meets it, holds that position until the bar starts rising and pushes it further.

  • so easy lifts omg ...

  • Godlike.

  • This guy has a chance at winning 2 more OG GOLD INSANE!

  • Aramnau is definately a quality lifter but he will have to emulate the feats of Suleymanoglu (Turkey), Dimas (Greece), Kackishvalli (George) and Mutlu (Turkey) and win three consecutive Olympic gold medals in weightlifting if he is to ever be considered truelly great.

  • he must be the fastest c&j'er I ever watched

  • what song is this? put some death metal!

  • Fenomenalny występ! Piękna walka w pięknym stylu! Pozdo z Polski!

  • still inspires me even after 2 years!

  • Be on the lookout for the heaviest snatch ever, by Aramnau!!!

  • Be on the lookout for Jancarlo Perez representing the United States someday...

  • US weightlifters suck.

  • Yeah, I totally agree, which is why I'm going to make them not suck.

  • amazing nice control

  • Incredible, awesome, unbelievable good !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Inhuman strength and perfect technique

  • he is realy awesome with a realy good technik ...how is the weight of this lifter ?

  • The greatest weightlifting feat of all time. No doubt the lightest man to snatch 200 kg.

  • Zacharevitch 200@100kg

  • @bejjeagle Nicu Vlad 200.5@100

  • @bejjeagle

    Vlad Nicu 200.5 @199kg

  • @bejjeagle

    Vlad Nicu 200.5@100kg

  • @bejjeagle Hold on, I think Nicu Vlad did 200.5 weighing 99.5 kg, check it out on Google. I lkie Zak for the 215 snatch everyone "knows" he could have done when he did the 210, it was too easy.

  • @bejjeagle Yuri Zakharevich

  • @bejjeagle He did 205 jn trainings

  • @iskanderzzz kg

  • @bejjeagle Blagoev 195 @ 89.something was not far off

  • Yeah definitely. Chigishev though is light for his snatches but Aramnau is still lighter haha

  • @tballou1 Check this my friend -->/watch?v=PFtFQnNu0OI

  • Notice how short his arms are? That has to be a factor.

  • Once I learned about Olympic Weightlifting, I became totally uninterested in convential bodybuilding. This to me is so much more impressive than a nice set of pecs or calves. Plus these guys can run and jump their asses off (with exception of huge guys like Reza). It's really an art form as well.

  • super heavyweights can jump too (:

  • Really? I wasn't aware of that. But I"m sure you're right. I mean they generate so much damn power.

  • Comment removed

  • @JPMartin5

I have the same expierence, i found bodybuilding very interesting, but once you know olympic weightlifting then bodybuilding is really boring and with olympic training you learn real power and speed

  • 6 for 6 at the Olympics. That is impressive.

  • godamn his legs are massive, I would love to see this guy transition to superheavyweight and take the crown of the strongest man ever.

  • He's an IKON

  • MAD RESPECT TO ALL OLYMPIC ATHLETES!

  • who sings this song ?

  • looks invincible -

  • Andrei aramnaus is the great lifter!he is pieces of the history,he is young but great!and he have exelent future!but he is rebeld boy!thank belarus for the good athletes!i love to andrei aramnau!

  • Pretty much every good lifter uses roids. Razazedeh, Naim, Dimas, this guy. But like you said. Whatever it takes to win. The roids dont take away from the brutal training these guys do to get to where they are

  • It just means they are good. Probably the reason they are olympic champions.

  • If you think this was "easy" for him you're an idiot. Yes, the best make it look easy because it happens so fast, but watch the video again and take a look at his face when he's standing up with 200kg locked out overhead and then try and tell me it was "too easy". There is nothing "easy" about what these incredible athletes do, steroids or no.

  • Actually bejjeagle theres a very good chance he did get busted. He was caught driving drunk in Belarus after the olympics and was suspended for 2 years. But lets face it, you dont get suspended for that long just cause you were drunk, there had to be something more to it

  • he got caught drink driving twice in 2 months

    thats why

maybe roids maybe not, alot of european countries give there lifters stuff that is undetectable, all about winning at the end of the day for the countries sake

  • 3:09 look at his expression. so calm. you knew he was going to do it.

  • Anyone remember the great Bulgarian lifter Valentin Christov? Aramnau reminds me of him. I think Christov was a 110 kg. (242 lbs.), won a championship or two. Very calm, cool, collected, speed and power to burn.

  • Great lifter and great video

I heard he tested positive for steroids anyone know whether this is true or not??

  • It is false.

  • @bejjeagle It is true actually...

  • @LittleKris17 no he didnt

  • @LittleKris17 whether true or not the only thing that steroids help you is stamina for extra training.no extra strength..

  • Andrei aramnaus is great!he have 21 years old,but have face of kid!he have force, and much way of future

  • feeling proud for my country!) amazing athlete!

  • good lord

thats 16kg off from the WR snatch of all time and this dude isnt even in the 105+

  • look at the crazy power he generates to the bar when he recovers from the clean. he has everything speed power strength

  • impressionnant, voici la notice de l'haltérophilie.... Observez et apprenez

  • Notice his second snatch. His speed at getting under the bar is terrifying.

Aramnau is this soft looking kid with the face of a 10 yr old, yet his strength goes beyond what most people could even dream of having. The power he generates is almost not human.

  • Terrifying is the word. Just so fast under it defies physics.

Just watch how on the slowed 200, he still manages to snap out the feet. Ther was alot more in this man.

  • he's a thing of beauty

  • this guy is only 21 years old!!!

  • PERFET TECHNICHE .......

  • You can't teach technique like that.

  • yes you can you can't teach natural power and strength though which he has.

  • well how did he learn it then?

  • Who taught Maradona to play football? Exactly.

  • absolutely flawless. I would say that might have been the best lifting i have ever seen. just amazing!

  • you need to check out yuri zakharevich

  • poetry in motion. flawless. no wasted effort.

  • and the way he goes after it! he wastes no time. just boom boom! done what? "yeah i know im a badass" My new favorite Oly lifter.

  • what place did he come in?

  • He won.

  • I just noticed that too. Andrei jerks on the third whip bounce. Very smart to use that energy.

  • Its crazy how he uses the bar whip from his clean recovery to jerk it.

  • i know eh!

  • Is this sport great or what. Nicely done and also put to favorites.

  • Added to favorites.

    What's the song's name?

  • It is from the gladiator soundtrack.. i forget its actual name. it might be Elysium

  • "Now We Are Free" is the track name. It plays at the very end of Gladiator.

  • Greatest video ever I can't stop watching

  • I would love to see him compete as a SHW.

  • Your music videos are awesome, please make more, and not only with the gold medalists!

  • he is real fast for his category!!!!!!

  • His clean and jerks are cool. I wish I could clean like he does.

  • excellent video!!!!nice work!xD

  • Do video with Chigishev with like some badass music. He was first SHW to hit 2x bodyweight clean and jerk! Or just more videos in general these are great to watch before working out.

  • Jaber Salem (Yanni Marchokov), Pisarenko.. I could go on...

  • This is just the fucking best video on youtube! Thanks alot!:)

  • Awesome lifting from such a fine young athlete. I do believe that pound for pound Aramnau is No.1 right now. Cheers Youtube bejjeagle :)

  • 10 star video dude thanks !

  • He's like the shortest 105 guy too, at around 5ft 8in / 173 cm. The Russians that took 2nd and 3rd were both around 6 ft. I guess being short gives you a biomechanical advantage, provided you can build enough muscle on the frame.

  • dude look at him he is not that muscular compared to the two russians who are well built. Yet he makes them look like little girls. He is just ridiculous, you can tell he has A LOT more in him also.

  • he is a lot bigger than this video gives him credit for. actually he is enormous and very muscular, he is just not as lean as the russians.

  • Agreed. Just did a google image search, and he has like the widest torso I've ever seen. He probably just bulked up with some extra fat to get close to the 105 kilo limit when he moved up from the 94's. I can't wait to see the weights he will be able to hit once he becomes even more muscular.

  • Oops, sorry. I fucked up with my facts. Aramnau has the potentail to become only the fifth (not fourth) lifter to win three consecutive Olympic golds.

  • I really hope so!

  • Best modern weightlifter IMO

Him and Ilya Ilin are in a league of their own.

  • Who is Ilya Ilin? This young guy (Aramnau) is definately in a league of his own. Aramnau is destined for greatness, no two ways about it. He has the potentail to become only the fourth weightlifter to win three consecutive olympic gold. He is the best lifter in the -105kg class since Timor Taemazov

  • The winner of the 94kg weightclass.

  • Thanks for the information. I didn't quite follow all the weightlifting during Beijing, but thanks for letting me know about Ilya Ilin. When I think of great weightlifters I of Naim Suleymanoglu (Turkey), Piros Dimas (Greece), Akakiios Kakishvali (Georgia, Russia) and Halil Mutlu (Turkey)

  • IMO Ilya Ilin wasn't as dominating in his category compared to Andrei.

  • Just think he was 20 when he did this also, that is just ridiculous to think about. He can very well go down as top 5 ever in olympic lifting with his potential I hope he stays healthy.

  • Truly great performance, but he has still some way to go before he matches Yuri Zakharevich who as a 19 year old junior in the 100kg class snatched 200kg and c&j 240kg for aq record breaking 440kg total.

  • Now we are free sung by Lisa gerrard.

  • That was one of the best weightlifting performances ever.

  • Thanks For This Video:)

  • Вышел, поднял, победил. Настоящий Беларус.

bejjeagle thank you for this nice video.

  • whereas klokov is a hottie :P

  • i hate that hes the best 105 lifter in the world but yet he looks the weakest out of them all.

    But crazy respect for him!

  • He looks like an average fatass, but he's probably one of the strongest guys on the planet these days...

  • he ranks top 20 in all classes, this guy is a monster.

  • take that back i looked it up and HE'S RANKED #5 IN THE WORLD IN ALL CLASSES, THIS GUY ISN'T HUMAN, HE'S A GOD!!!!!!!

  • He could win over the most of 105+ guys

  • just think about it, he weight a good 20 kg less than chigycev, now think if he was that big. he would beat out rezadeh at that weight and if was big as matthias steiner. he would probley be lifting over 600 LBS!!!!! ( >270 kg!!!!!!) i wouldn't be surpised in the next few years hes rank #1
