@Raffa98 I've removed it from Cydia because it has no use now that Spotify has its own official iPhone app on the appstore (I work at Spotify on this official app). If you *really* want to try it anyway, you can compile it from sources: github.com/nevyn/spot

It is impossible, by design. Spot can't play ads, and thus using Spot with a free account would mean using Spotify's service without paying; that's not okay.

There's a discount at the moment though, 50% off for a month of premium. I'm trying it out right now. It might be only for the UK though...

There's an official Spotify client out on the official App Store anyway, which you probably knew. You need premium for that as well.

Consider that it hasent been around for all too long and that they add new music everyday, tomorrow all your music might be up.

Commercials are how they make the money to supply you and me with free music.

If you wanna use the music you should pay for it out of respect for the creator/artist (since you'd want them to be able to continue to make music you like and want to use for your projects), so if you click "buy" and pay a small sum of money you can use it as much as you want.

As I've said, the reason you don't find all your music there is because you (and many others) refuse to pay the small sum thats required to keep spotify going.

It's full of commericals, yes it is, because you haven't payd for it.

You want to use the songs in a video, that would be commercial use, which in any way, even if you bought the song, would be illegal.

Spotify själva har lagt in en block för om man ansluter

1) med något annat än ett premiumkonto OCH

2) med något annat än en officiell klient.

Det är för att det är trivialt att skriva en klient som hoppar över reklam. Dock har jag hört att även Spotifys officiella iPhone-klient bara kommer stödja premium-accounts.

Not yet, working on it. There are some bugs on the underlying library, despotify, that'll have to be worked out first.

tried it (copied .app over scp to /Applications and chmod 755 to all files) and i can't see the icon.

But i can add it to SBsettings Dock.

But started from there i don't get any results. And a second search crashes the app

Yeah, we're noobs on making jailbreak apps, we'll try to work it out and write a guide. As on searches crashing the app: do you have a premium account? The app won't work on a free account, we haven't even tried that.

Got it installed, and logged in with a free pass did not work as expected. I then tried it with a UK 99p 1 day pass, and get the same problem, no results and the second search leads to a crash.
