I woke up this morning...pulled up "You Tube"...and yes.......my first hit was you. I told 28 people about you yesterday. Still can't believe how well you do this song! I simply can't say enough. Stay well...
Young man...I've been listening to Jim Croce for many years...you are fantastic! Please don't waste that talent...it would be such a shame. You even have the look of an artist. Please don't stop playing!!!!
That was really wonderful! I found you from your link when you wrote to Mrs. Croce - really beautiful letter! Keep playing & blessing us w/ your gift! You're gift is as great as Jim's - you brought me joy & that's what he did! Well done! Thank you so much - really beautiful!
man that is very very well done, wow man, absolutely incredible, i love singing this song, maybe we can play together some day, in washington square park, lol, you 'just gotta get outta here' kid, gotta get out and make a name for yourself :)
Wow man! There are a lot of guys playing this song on here and very few play it right. Yours is perfect. And you learned this by ear?! Dude! You're seriously talented. Don't waste it.
Wow! Jim Croce was my absolute favorite when he died. I was 14 at the time and it was an earth shattering event for me. He's still a favorite and you have really done him a great service here. I'm so happy you're helping keep his music alive. I hope you will continue. I know Jim's music - you are playing it exactly like Jim played it and I like that you've taken no liberties. It's best in its purest form. I hope to see more of you in the future; your talent is a real treat.
Another proud Jim Croce addict I see! This is definitely one of my favorites, and you are playing it more "correctly" then I do. Still love playing this one though... Keep it up man.
I also found out about you via the Croce's website. I absolutely love that you are keeping his music alive. when you are famous playing like he did in front of an audience you are going to have a great tale to tell. Good luck to you young man. I know he would be proud of you
How old are you sweetie? You play so well ,I actually found out about you on Jim Croce's website.I encourange you to keep playing, you have alot of talent and it will take you places, its a pleasure to hear someone so young play so effortlessly and enjoying what you are doing..........In this day and age thats rare.........Darlene
I am now 16 going on 17, thank you VERY much for the encouraging words!! Lol, I had no IDEA Mrs. Croce had put up my letter on the official Jim Croce website! What an honor!! Yeah I will definitely keep playing for the rest of my life whether I choose to become a professional musician or not, it's become a part of me now.
You look nice and relaxed playing along to Jim. It's just the way I was here in New York (no joke) back in 75 when I learned how to fingerpick by listening to his music. ALSO, I lived in Rio Rancho (May Circle) and Albuquerque back in 83. Did you know Jim and Ingrid were in Santa Fe for a time while she took a course in pottery? True. Anyway keep up the good guitar work. I enjoyed it.
Wow. You've got a lot of talent! I hope that you NEVER LAY YOUR GUITAR DOWN. No matter how busy life seems to get, always make time for it and you'll never be sorry.
Lol, thank you very much Marcoos! I'm gonna be putting new guitar vids up pretty soon, so if you could I'd love some criticism man. Like brutal audience critiques. Thanks again bro!
That was really good. Very smooth and relaxed. Keep up the good work! wish I had started playing when I was your age. When you gonna post solo? I just posted this song myself, notice the slide in the riff on the A string, and I play Amaj7 and Esus4 on the lick after the chorus. Hope that helps.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. Alright, I'll have to look up how to play Amaj7 and Esus4, because I know very few names of chords. I really only know the major chords. Lol, I don't know how to read music or anything either so I'm pretty far behind. But I'm gonna be taking Guitar 1 at the High School this year so hopefully I learn all that stuff in there.
By the way, your in my favorites!
