it is strange that the people most of us look up to are looking down on themselves. why are masses attracted to people who have traits such as selfloathing, insecure, selfdoubting? subconsciously we all pick up on those traits in these celebrities, yet we look up to them. this is something to be studied if it hasn't been.
@OdeToNecrophilia Is it not a possibility that they look up to other factors about them instead of the negatives? For instance they could look up to a celebrity for their "contributions" e.g. movie or music whilst overlooking their troubles. They have parts they like and parts they don't, negatives are not all encompassing in the psyche and neither are the positives.
