Soon his schizophrenia will come out. Notice how in the early seasons Harry was just a memory. Now Harry is a straight up hallucination and present at important moments. No one seems to question that. One of these times the voice in Dexters head is going to slip out

Interesting to see how Dexter will be acting in season five. He lost his partner in life, struggled to try and be something he really wasn't with Miguel in season three. His wife was taken from him, but by whom? Was it Dexter, could he be slipping away, losing his grip on reality and acting out in ways he could never realize? Perhaps the Dark Passenger is doing something that it has been wanting to do since Dexter is trying to settle down, perhaps it's angry and is acting out.

@Kwestdaroc4 I saw that show as well, it is called no ordinary family but I still didn't think they would kill her off. Although when they mentioned in the promo a shocking ending I thought Debra might die but this was more shocking and sad. It pissed me off as well but that is what good stories do where the writers care about the fans but still tell the story they want to tell. I mean my favourite show ever is 24 and the writers on it did exactly that especially the ending to season 1.

The ending to season 4 was an artistic masterpiece. It’s as if someone made a pact with the devil. All other episodes come close to this level which makes Dexter one of the best shows ever produced, including Hollywood movies. Have you ever watched a scene in a movie where you get the point but it drags on excruciatingly longer then necessary? Not so in any Dexter episode. What really makes it special for me is whenever a scene ends, I want more. When the show is over, I want a lot more.

@treblanews I thought the ending was pretty shocking, but I thought the actually "cut to black" part.. was poorly done. I can't even remember what he says.. but it cuts off out of nowhere. I just remember thinking that it was kind of rushed. Still a great finale to the best season of the series so far. God, I love Dexter.

Ya. I didn't mind that they killed her off. In fact I thought it was a great twist. I just don't think she deserved ALL that hate.

That said, considering she didn't work, the kids were always at school or with a neighbor, you'd think she'd spend a bit more time with the baby, rather than having dexter take care of him all the time. Lol.

@mikepyro713 The wives in these types of series are always going to get the hate cause they are pretty much there to create conflict and drama. Skyler on Breaking Bad gets the same kind of hate from fans cause the audience identifies with Walt who's just trying to make some money to leave his family and Skyler, who keeps getting mad at him and snooping around, threatens to unravel his plans. I like to just go along with it though. Rita/Skyler = more drama. More drama = good.

@247kendall these motion comics are about Dexter in his earlier years as a serial killer. Sometimes these comics will show you how he acquired his techniques (for lack of better words). For this one in particular it looks like he witnesses a murder while he was in college except the killer he was eying actually saw him. Watch 0:45-0:47 closely, you'll see what I was referring to in the last sentence.
