Would Hokuto Akira's Northern Lights Bomb be considered a piledriver-type move? The opponent is turned upside down and spiked. Vicious, especially when Akira-chan did it.

One slipup and those movers could paralyze someone. Use only in videogames people! Interesting though the waythe two guys hit by Super Dragon were able to brace the head impact by using their hands.

In Mexico it's banned because a lot of the users there just land you straight your head. Anyway he used a nice one against Owen Hart and recently with Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 26

Not trying to be atrocious but with piledrivers, most of the time people just stand up and then drop them on their heads. Wouldn't the piledriver be more effective if someone flipped into it like Barry White driver for example? Isn't the piledriver more dangerous with more velocity behind it?

A good amount of wrestling moves were innovated in Japan, and a lot of those by women, no less. Along with the Kudome Valentine, the Burning Hammer, Tiger Driver '91, Jackhammer, Skytwister Press, and the Northern Lights Bomb were all innovated by female wrestlers.
