  • Poor dog.

  • It's for the same reason that early man like gold. It reminded them of the sun, and light represented hope. Darkness was something they feared.

The German word for gold was GILDEN, but the Latin for gold was ORO which some from the Hebrew word OR meaning "light".

  • Someone should really upload this movie!! This is a masterpiece of cinema!!!

  • Actor looks like Hell Boy..

  • It IS Hellboy! :)

  • To: @Zhorellski

Yes, he is. The actor is the great RON PERLMAN.

Watch him in the TV series "Beauty and the Beast" with Linda Hamilton.

  • that dog was acually on fire wtf!

  • Aaaahh, the... fire....

is always shelebrated for its exshellence...

  • How did Homo-erectus keep the same fire burning for generations when it rained? A good rain storm can even put out a massive forest fire.

  • @ aerosteon

cavemen kept their fire in the cave with them

  • To : @Aerosteon

They were not as stupid as portraited. They kept

the fire in the cave and later learned to make it themselves as shown in the excellent "The Clan of the Cave Bear".

  • We are still rival clans questing for technology instead of fire, it is natural resoursces and energy. Our human mentality has not changed and will not change. We wil kill to protect resources and energy instead of sharing it.

  • Yeah, fucking commies, get it right. Men will never work for the greater good, nor are they born good OR compassive.

  • Yes when the survival of the material self-world is all that is focused on then greed for that survival animates all our actions. I have been looking at the Jain culture of people in India, there is something different in them, the seed within the seed is realized. The energy that animates you, is the same energy that animates all life!

  • Awesome

  • @shellback963 HOW DO WE EVOLVE BEYOND THIS CAVE MENTALITY? THAT IS THE QUESTION

  • Homo erectus also knew how to strike rocks to shape them into blades (there is fossil evidence of this). As soon as they accidentally tried to "shape" flint (which they did; again there is fossil evidence), they would have figured out how to make fire.

  • This movie is a MUST see for anyone with interest in neanderthals and rival clans questing for technology and fire.Great flick.

  • @YeaWhiplash this is the only place you will find evidence of caveman, this and that movie "clan o' the cave bear"

  • Interesting special on fire's discovery(or stealing?). How well can you discover or invent the fire? :D

  • Natural fires? :P

  • To: @Owneador1337

    What is your question?

Don't you know that lightening can cause fire?

  • He asked how well can you discover or invent the fire.

I answered with another question, telling him to think about natural fires.
