okay, I have an MXR Phase 90 from a long time ago (Block Logo) that I got cuz my dad hadn't touched it since before I was born (I was born in the 1st week of September, 1985...& I always played guitar (since I was 2 years-old) & my dad had a Phase 90 around, he NEVER used it, so I stole it when I was 16 yrs-old, but, this is the NEW AGE!!! Every amp I've bought for the last *15 years (the asterisk means only amps that aren't either 30 to 50 Years-Old or a Re-Issue of one has Phaser Built-In)

Just two question: the speed is set to 12 and the sound's going phaseing...but...if i turn down fast the speed pot at 0...will be the sound stucked into a freezed phase?

Are there only 4 intensity mode? no trimmer?

Using the bass for two settings on a guitar pedal review? who fucking cares about bass!?. When I played bass I didn't care about bass!! sheesh! Bass shouldn't use effects, it's bass. Just play the bass and shut up. Also do we need to hear 10 minutes of "here's the bypassed tone" for the bass?

anyone notice how in the bass blow torch is doing slapping style, and here he's usuing a pick? Surely those two techniques should be the other way round, i.e using the pick in the Bass Blow Torch demo instead? I'm just saying it helps, lol. Oh well, doesn't matter all that much. That little clean melodic solo bit he did in this demo was execellent. Good player.

i have a phase 100 but i think it's a vintage one, because the AC input is different.

anyway, the manual explains the four settings differently. the sound gets more intense as you go from position 1 to position 4, but position 2 and 4 have stronger regeneration (notch depth they call it) and are alot less subtle.

anyhow i'm really happy with it on guitar. i haven't tried it on my bass but it makes my cheapo keyboard sound alot better on piano or organ settings.

Yea, I like mxr and all, but I would say Proguitarshop is way better, ANdy isnt all fake cool like this guy, hes cool because he rocks. Gearmandude is also really cool, he does mostly boutique stuff.

The last setting... min regen and min width is pretty close to a phase 90. I swapped out a 90 on my board and that's the setting I use on the 100 to emulate it.
