To the WC practioner, you're falling into the usual pitfall of the art. You don't see the angled or outside punches, try to avoid chasing his low kicks and punches with your hand and guage which attacks are actually going to hit you. You'll stop chasing and over-reaching. I know it's easier to flip your palm down and go low, but you have to watch up top. Play your angles as well, it'll nullify whatever someone else does..

one of the biggest tenets in both wing chun and krav maga is moving off of center to gain an advantage on your opponent as well as moving in to your opponent to attack and defend at the same time, you two do the exact opposite of that. moving away cause you're afraid to get hit andd only walking forward and backward. i'm no expert in krav maga but i do know wing chun and there are just no fundamentals in there at all.
too afraid of being hit, little to no deffense, body movement was minimal during attack and footwork needs a lot of work plus work on guaging distances by that i mean distances of your own kicks and attacks it seems like you impressed yourself more than anyone else every hit and dont stop the fight bc you did get a hit it looks like your both out-fighters loosen up and remember you can move sideways rather than front or back as well

Ok neither of those two have a high-level in any of those disciplinces I see both coming up with Wing Chung but neither with exactly Krav Maga yesterday I sparred with a Wing Chun claiming he's techniqs wil beat Krav Maga I was on his head probaly if I had to take him down I would but he still claimed Wing Chung was better he couldn't even move out and is on it for a year.

@kevinchristopher100 sparring is normally introduced in Lvl 2 and its normally optional. 6 months tells me off-hand you were still lvl 1 as it takes about 8 months for instructors to be ready to test students (between 40-60 classes depending on the lvl and how well someone has grasped the material)

They have never been seen in live video footage in any recognized fight. While People refer to these styles they fight professionally, they still only grapple and kick box (lmao).

Dont get insulted. all i saw was half decent kicks. Krav Maga or wing chun would have moved into the kicks or attacks. Krav Maga would of grabbed the kick followed by a take down. Wiing chun would have moved to the side w lap sao, lap dao, (so much choice) , and if the wing chun guy would be very aggressive would follow throught with a take down to slow down and immobilise the attacker. too afraid of being hit, little to no deffense, body movement was minimal during attack and footwork needs a lot of work plus work on guaging distances by that i mean distances of your own kicks and attacks it seems like you impressed yourself more than anyone else every hit and dont stop the fight bc you did get a hit it looks like your both out-fighters loosen up and remember you can move sideways rather than front or back as well

Ok neither of those two have a high-level in any of those disciplinces I see both coming up with Wing Chung but neither with exactly Krav Maga yesterday I sparred with a Wing Chun claiming he's techniqs wil beat Krav Maga I was on his head probaly if I had to take him down I would but he still claimed Wing Chung was better he couldn't even move out and is on it for a year.

lol so many haters:D I think these guys are great for at least taking the time to spar and if any of you say bad things that means none of you have any experinence in a real fight and would do no better.....if I might give my advice, I'd say that stopping the practice fight after one hit can lead to bad ''real'' fighting habits

@kevinchristopher100 sparring is normally introduced in Lvl 2 and its normally optional. 6 months tells me off-hand you were still lvl 1 as it takes about 8 months for instructors to be ready to test students (between 40-60 classes depending on the lvl and how well someone has grasped the material)

@nmkostic Wing chun is also too violent when done for real. But my sifu let's me feel his WC power while shutting me down without hurting me. I didn't see much WC in there. Mansquad's right. there's no follow thru with the kicks and a big lack of aggressiveness. But he could've been alittle more respectful of fellow martial artists!

In fact, Jeet Kun Do, Ed Parker Kenpo, Krav Maga, Aikido, Shaolin Kung Fu and every animal style in the book,Tai Chi Chuan, Capoeira, are all arts that cannot be used in the octagon in any MMA scenario because their techniques are so deadly and advanced. They have never been seen in live video footage in any recognized fight. While People refer to these styles they fight professionally, they still only grapple and kick box (lmao).

@nmkostic It would be "too violent" that's a joke! all "real" sparring is very violent. People die in boxing matches, and they spar every day! MMA and Thai boxing (people have died) is BRUTAL, and they spar every day! Any combat art that does not spar is not worth learning and is useless in a real life fight.
BOTTOM LINE: If you don't spar a ton, you will freak out, loose your composure, mentally break, and loose the fight.

Dont get insulted. all i saw was half decent kicks. Krav Maga or wing chun would have moved into the kicks or attacks. Krav Maga would of grabbed the kick followed by a take down. Wiing chun would have moved to the side w lap sao, lap dao, (so much choice) , and if the wing chun guy would be very aggressive would follow throught with a take down to slow down and immobilise the attacker. Hey but that's just my opinion. Alexlati1 is right on his comment. sorry if you got offended
