  • Sorry you feel that way, but those people have a right to keep what they've worked for without government dipping their fingers in, trying to take it and put into entitlement programs for those who don't work. And for some do work, the reason why they may not have money, because they may not be good stewards of their finances.

For example, you made a clip of yourself, and urging others to spend $ to buy and burn up Bibles, it's no one else's responsibilty to compensate you for that. :)

  • but rich people ARE better than everyone else.

life liberty and the pursuit of happiness

minus life and happiness. and only the liberty the republicans think wont make Jesus angry.

  • You are sick alright. And I bet you are sick of watching town hall meetings. All that democracy angers people like you. But essentially, why should anyone be obligated to give you something?

You have an entitlement mindset. You expect the world to take care of you. In essense, you are a spoiled child that can't handle life without a Big Daddy to do it for you. Poor, poor, baby.

You are the sort that actually thinks Cuba for example has great health care. You should live there you whiner

  • wow! I share your frustration....it's horrible still.

  • You're a little bitter.. I don't know exactly why but I'm sorry that you never seem to be happy.

  • I'm rich, and i'm pretty sure that DOES make me better than you.

    Have a nice day ;)

  • Not to take away from your message... but that rant was hot. Your eyes and lips echoed the passion in your words. I'm glad you posted it this way instead of doing it after cooling off. That is, if you ever do cool off when it comes to this topic. I just found you today, working my way through your videos.

  • Why didn't you have healthcare as a child? Medicaid has been around for decades for children. Did your father or mother work? If they were low income they could have easily gotten Medicaid for the kids. It's hard to get for adults making an income, but indigent adults get it and the disabled. And there is Medicare for the old & school ins for college students. Others are expected to be responsible enough to get insurance - adults like you. But you had money to go to Cambodia. ha hahaha

  • @KrisMayeaux You know, if you save your money right a trip to cambodia is cheaper than a year's worth of insurance (and MUCH more fun). Though, did I once say in this video that I want to have insurance? I was angry because of the ridiculous arguments at the town hall meetings and the heartless comments from the other side. And for the record, Medicaid is practically impossible to get if you straddle the poverty line.

  • @BornWithoutReligion Taxes pay for Medicaid for the disabled, for children, for pregnant mothers and for the indigent but as I said before, adults like you are expected to be responsible and get your own insurance. But you chose to go on an overseas vacation instead. What are you complaining about? If you get sick go to any hospital, you'll get treatment - whether you pay or not. Poverty line straddlers can go to state funded sliding scale clinics - you just don't get your choice of doctors.

  • @BornWithoutReligion Except with Obama care you will be forced to purchase your own health insurance, whether you want it or not, or whether you can afford it or not, even if it means no more vacations. This is what the Town Hall meetings were trying to prevent. LOL

  • Well lady are you happy with the government help or do we wait to say "I told you so".

  • GET A JOB

  • I am a Christian and I can not agree with you more.

  • Darn! I thought you were an Atheist.

  • who are you? I think I love You

  • you're sick to death of it?...maybe you should go to the doctor, that sounds pretty serious.

  • You are right that Canada is freer than America in those respects. But the people that screwed up our freedom is the Progressive Statists like your self who constantly impose more and more rules, laws, taxes and regulation on society. It's all there to justify the welfare state. Even our immigration debate is based on who should be able to suck benefits from the public trough. Of course Canada also benefits when America produces 70% of the new drugs and we pay the research & development costs.

  • No, all I care about is freedom. Even yours.

  • Actually i feel that way on all those issues. All of those issues or programs require me to pay for things I may not approve. However as a practical matter the Constitution draws the line in the list of powers granted to the Congress (see the 10th Amendment). Nowhere is the power to mandate the purchase of health insurance granted, nor Social Security, or many others. The use of force is the governments power to tax and if you refuse to pay they use guns to collect it. This is force writ large.

  • The thing I object is the use of force to require participation in a government program. If a private insurance company fails to provide the services I can quit paying and find another provider. If the government fails, as always , they can force you to continue to fund their schemes or kill you. Do you advocate the death penalty for not participating in these Ponzi schemes? Because if you refuse to pay they will come with guns to make you . And if you resist they can kill you. Do you approve?

  • Those bitchy people ranting about how they don't want "socialized" medicine are being brainwashed by politicians who are being bought off by the insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies. They're told that government health care will mean being told which doctor they're allowed to see, or what medications they're allowed to have, or the government deciding that they're too old and they're not going to care for them anymore. It's all lies.

  • @autumnsylver People who advocate the use of force to require participation in a government scheme are immoral. Do you favor the death penalty to force people into Obamacare? This is no different than drafting kids to send them to Vietnam. MY FREEDOM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR GOOD IDEA.

  • @JonKevinCherry Why is it you feel this way about health care, but you don't feel this way about people having to pay for public school funding whether they have kids or not, or paying for the police department which everybody uses, or paying for the fire department, which everybody uses?

Should the government stop funding those services?

And what "use of force" are you referring to in the case of health care?

  • @JonKevinCherry Also, you said "MY FREEDOM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR GOOD IDEA." So, you equate government funded health care with slavery? That's just how the pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies want you to think. They can keep on charging $100 per pill for some medications and charging people up to $1800 a month for health insurance.

If you think that people only deserve health care if they can afford it, then you're a horrible person and I'm glad I don't know you.

  • @autumnsylver Your arrogance is stunning. The idea that you have the right to take other peoples property simply because you think others deserve health care is evil. I may be a horrible person, but your mandatory compassion is worse. I don't screw people "for their own good". And once more , there is no thing as government "funding"; it's all the taxes of individual persons with just as much right to their property as you. Perhaps they would rather spend the cash on themselves or their kids

  • @JonKevinCherry So all you care about is money. Gotcha.

  • @JonKevinCherry Your ignorance is stunning. It's not "taking other people's property". It's taking some of the tax money that people are paying anyway and using it to pay for health care for everybody. Do you think you're not already paying for other people's health care just because you have insurance from an insurance company? If you pay in $3600 over 3 years and then make a claim for $20,000, where do you think the other $16400 is coming from? The health care fairy?

  • @autumnsylver Some of a persons tax money is their property, duh. And it is taking money they would get to keep if the government didn't seize it at gunpoint. And I know how insurance works. The difference is that the private company can't use a gun to mandate payment regardless of an individual wishes. Or compel you to fund a strangers lifestyle choices. Or prevent you from changing providers. Your bad choices don't constitute a lien on my life, liberty or property.

  • @JonKevinCherry You know what. I had a response typed out, but I deleted it because you're clearly too ignorant to see reason, and I'm not going to bother debating you anymore.

  • @autumnsylver By the way, Obamacare is a Federal Program, and police, fire and schools are state level programs authorized by a state constitution. So they are apples and oranges in that I can leave a state that raises taxes too high and go to another I like better. How can you run away from the Imperial Federal Government? How can you avoid the IRS worldwide? America has become a police state because of the "good intentions" of people like you.

  • @JonKevinCherry 1. I'm not american. 2. Canada is not nearly the police state that the US is. We have much more freedom than you guys do. Thanks to the patriot act, they can search your house without a warrant, or tap your phone just because they feel like it. They can't do things like that here.

Your ignorance is actually hurting other people because all you care about is money.

  • ERR! What the fuck is that on my screen! How do I get it off!

TECH SUPPORT! I HAVE THIS NASTY LOOKING CREATURE ON MY SCREEN!

  • So did the government give you what you wanted, do they ever?

  • You should do this speech at a tea party protest to get through to those dumb right wing people.

  • Health insurance bill just got passed. It may be the "bitch" version of the bill, but It still retains the effect of sending the teabaggers into a frenzied rage.

    I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

  • Hey remember back when Nixon put price controls on gasoline? No, well let me refresh your memory, there were shortages and long lines. Do you really think that won't happen with health care? The reason why health care is expensive is because the supply of doctors is controlled. Allow there to be more doctors and you will see prices fall.

  • @popular92704 Then how do you explain that prices here in Canada are cheaper than in the US? We actually have a shortage of physicians because they're going to the US because they can make more money there. Yet we still have lower prices than you. Medications here are cheaper, and services are cheaper. What would you pay for ambulance service in the US? About $450? You know what it is here in Canada? $45. 10 times less. Explain that one to me.

  • @autumnsylver

Because Canada puts price controls on everything rather than letting the natural motions of the market (competition) take control.

  • @popular92704 If that were true, we wouldn't have cheaper generic drugs.

Am I correct to assume that when you say "price controls on everything", you're not just referring to health care?

  • I think someone needs a physician :)

I heart my healthcare and my money!

  • I watched this first on your channel as I am catching up on your past video posts.

This is powerful stuff...I literally had to take a few minutes to relax after watching, as I'm sure you did after recording it.

I took time to read the past comments before posting this one...sorry to read that your partner was out of the country at the time you made the video. It's always great if you can have someone there when your so damn frustrated...they know you, and will listen and not judge you.

  • I LOVE this rant. I make love to this rant. It is that awesome.

  • No, what you need is to come for my money to fund the schemes of the welfare state. No matter how you put it, you believe that you have a right to a portion of my lifes work and property because you have less. This is simply greed.masked as liberalism. Our freedom is more important than your "good" ideas. Perhaps doctors should be enslaved to provide care . And no one should be forced to leave their country for disagreeing with the prevailing social mores , But I love your atheist videos.

  • @JonKevinCherry Do you really think that by having health insurance from a private company you're not paying for other people's health care?

If you pay $100 a month for insurance, and make a claim 3 years later for $20,000, do you really think that all of the $3600 you've paid in so far is going to pay for it? Where do you think the rest of it is going to come from? It's going to come from the pool of money the insurance company has, that all of their other customers have paid.

  • You made some really excellent points in this video, especially the complaints about not wanting government in their lives but wanting police and fire departments and support for their religion.

  • I can never take angry people seriously, but true, very true.

  • I know people like those you describe. They are totally rich, have multiple homes and fancy cars, yet are against universal healthcare. Oh, and they are big time religious fundies.

I don't get how any Christian cannot be for universal healthcare. I thought helping the poor and sick was a part of their mission in life. You know, like WWJD?

They don't mind our taxes going toward promoting their religion, but hell, don't let them go toward keeping the poor healthy.

  • Mk, I got through most of this and I see a fundamental misunderstanding. I'm a unemployed hispanic student with no insurance and I opposed universal healthcare. I am opposed because it's not a solution to our fucked healthcare system. It's an economists nightmare. The reason healthcare is so fucked is because of things like the HMO act and other government "solutions." Putting the state in complete control with no accountability to the market isn't going to fix anything.

  • I totally agree with you. Also I am totally discussed with Obama not following through with his promise of universal health care, and the dems on the hill not voting for it, when clearly they could do so, after all they have the numbers. Instead they are more concerned with their selves than the people they pretend to care about. I know that bashing Obama on this will make some mad at me but I don't care, I say put-up or shut-up.

  • Wow. BornWithoutReligion, I'm a little bit in love with you now. :) Great rant.

  • Haha, wow really? You sir/ma'am are a moron.

  • Well said. Health = Bullshit.

I don't have insurance and DON'T WANT IT.

Fuck the system . . having/getting insurance supports this sick fucking system.

Take care of yourself and you won't need a doctor.

    Go Vegan

Exercise and don't do stupid thing.

  • @GaryNull

    Accidents happen.

  • Hee hee. You go girl! lol

I am SO sending this to my friends. Miss you and all the good times!

Considering how much hospitals charge I am completely against them. I recall leaving a message with one "satisfaction survey" that contained the phrase "I will cauterize myself with a hot iron, EVEN IF I'M NOT BLEEDING before returning here. ~ Signed your least satisfied surviving customer"

  • I feel absolutely awful. I'm a studying doctor here in the UK and all of your problems wouldn't even exist here. Two aspirin? They hand them out for free.

  • this was an excellent rant! I too am pissed but for different reasons: That everything that comes out of the "anti-healthcare" activists is PURE LIES. I've yet to hear one truth from those douches. Anyways that was an amazing rant.

  • One thing has really pissed me off is the bullshit about the NHS that has been passed around the USA. Recently I badly severed a finger, went to an excellent well paid NHS doctor, had top class surgery from a well paid NHS surgeon in a superb NHS hospital and didnt have to worry about life long debt. If Palin et al were to be believed, a terrible impoverished doctor would have cut off my finger, shoved it where the sun don't shine then taken me out back for a good kicking. Rediculous.

  • Amen! Preach it

p.s. I'm looking forward to your videos (^.^)

  • Bravo! Get angry! Know about the issues! Have an opinion! Now if only the rest of America would wake up...

  • Too angsty.

  • Growing up I constantly heard"if you give a man a fish you feed him for a day if you teach him to fish you feed him for a live time-if you feed him a day at a time you make a slave of him if you teach him to feed himself you free him. So a government that hands you things does which?

  • In this case, I would say it's adding fish to the river so that those who have cheaper fishing polls can catch something too.

  • But not only is it still giving then fish, its taking fish someone else caught and giving them away soon the fisherman tired of losing his fish stops fishing. then where do the fish come from?

  • That's nonsense! You're telling me that if people making $300,000 a year have to pay more taxes (let's pull a big number out of the air and say $100,000 in taxes - highly unlikely, but for the sake of argument) that they would rather get minimum wage jobs and make 1/10th of what they would have made AFTER taxes?

If they're that stupid, I don't see how they became wealthy in the first place...

  • I has been shown time and again when it become unprifitable to earn a living people will either stop or move to a place where working is not punished. Either way they no longer contribute. As for putting fish back if a man still can't fish it doesn't matter how many there are.

  • How is $200,000 a year unprofitable?? Just because it isn't AS profitable, doesn't mean it isn't profitable at all. It's like someone saying, "If I can't eat caviar I'm not going to eat anything;" about 2 days later they'll be begging for a ham sandwich.

And show me where "it has been shown time and time again." Give me one example. ONE.

  • If it costs me 150,000 and the irs takes 100.000 and regulation compliance costs 100,000 its not profitable or I can move my operation to Brazil make 200,000 at a cost of 10,000. If you boss cut your pay by 25% would you stay putting out 100% for 75% return or would you move on to a more profitable location?

  • Show you one example how about all the tech companies that moved to the midwest for tax and lobor costs, the auto industry setting up plants in Mexico-lobor taxes, EPA costs-,GM used the first round of bailout money to redo their plants in Brazil, the movie industry now does more in Canada than CA.

  • @daddyg321 Here in Canada, we pay lower income taxes than Americans, but the government still finds a way to fund the health care system. Funny, that.

  • @autumnsylver Yes we know those that can afford to come down here to get proper treatment.

  • @daddyg321 So... you think we get sub par treatment here in Canada, and if we want "real" medical attention, we have to go to the US? If that's what you think, you're very mistaken. I guess you have no idea how many medical innovations have been invented here in Canada (like open heart surgery, insulin, the pacemaker, etc.) and are still being created here all the time.

  • @autumnsylver What I know is that I live a few hundred miles from the border, and people from here go there to get cheaper meds, and people from there come here to get treatments they can't get soon enough, or at all up there. Why would people spend big bucks to come here, pay 100% out of pocket plus living expenses if everything is great there?

  • @daddyg321 I don't know why they would do that. I can't answer you because you weren't specific. What I do know is that people losing their houses because of high medical bills doesn't happen here. People dying because they have a disease and *can't afford* to go to a doctor doesn't happen here. Hospitals here don't dump people on the street like yesterday's garbage because they're not rich. The facts speak for themselves. We have better health care here than you do. That's why we live longer.

  • @autumnsylver People say they come here because the wait in Canada would be deadly there.County run medical centers are not allowed to turn ANYONE away, and heres a good one, I know of three people getting FREE medical care by claiming to be illegal immigrants. I wonder if that could be part of the high costs here?

  • @daddyg321 The wait for what, specifically? If doctors here thought someone had a serious illness, they would get them in for testing ASAP. If the tests showed that they had a serious illness, like a tumor, for example, they would get them in for surgery ASAP.

About 10 years ago, I found a lump on my neck, so I went to my doctor. He scheduled me to have an ultrasound to see what kind of lump it was. I only had to wait 2 weeks...

  • @autumnsylver All I know is what I hear setting in waiting rooms,I have a major back injury. As for ten years ago, wasn't that before things started to go bad?

  • @daddyg321 Exactly. All you know is what you *hear* and a lot of it is lies. I know what I've *experienced*.

  • @autumnsylver So why would Canadians come here for health care and lie about it,is this some canadian custom I don't know about

  • @daddyg321 I can't answer you because you're being vague. I don't know what this "it" is that they're lying about.

  • @autumnsylver It turned out to be a cyst, so they didn't need to do anything. If it turned out to be a tumor, they would have gotten me in for surgery most likely within 2 or 3 weeks to have it removed. If it's something that's not serious, the person can wait, so they're put on the waiting list. If it's something serious, they do everything they can to get it taken care of as quickly as possible.

When my father had a heart attack 9 years ago, they brought him in ahead of everyone else in the ER

  • You have mistaken giving away handouts for actually caring for others.

Pooling together money and using it to pay for soon-to-be substandard health care is NOT the same as actually caring for your fellow human.

  • Im speechless, you said everything i ever needed to say about heathcare.

  • yah looks she is sick

  • Your anger, verbal abusiveness, and general 'oh-so-more-intelligent-than-thou' liberal attitude doesn't help your case at all. Relax.

  • To be fair, I don't have a "case". This was not an argument for or against healthcare. This is simply a rant (as stated everywhere) where I needed to purge the negative emotions I was feeling so I could relax.

  • Well said! I feel the exact same way as you about these rich snobs and I deal with them everyday here on Long Island.

  • Some one works for a living and makes money and does well for him self and you hate this why? Free clinics are every where GO SEE A DOCTOR!

Just because you want it does not mean its good for the country.

Health care needs massive reform on all fronts but this is not reform. It is simply saying screw it and letting the government pay for it. People like you love to bitch about over spending on "the wealthy". I wonder how much you paid uncle sam, last yr i know i paid $12,000.

  • @chupamiubre "Just because you want it does not mean its good for the country." Here in Canada, we have government health care. We also have a lifespan that's 3 years longer than Americans. How is that not good for the country? How is it not good for people to not have to miss work because they're sick and can't afford to see a doctor? How is it not good for people to not lose a child because they couldn't afford to have them treated?

  • @autumnsylver

Eh over the last yr nearly i have changed my views. I think to be fiscally conservative some form of state run medicine should be offered. The problem is the bill pretty much hands us over to ins companies.

  • @chupamiubre I think they need to follow a universal health care model like what we have in Canada, or what they have in the UK or France. Not just telling insurance companies that they can't drop someone when they make a claim. It's a start, but not nearly good enough. The problem is that the republicans are talking about death panels, and calling it socialism, brainwashing everyone to believe that government funded health care is evil, when it's not.

  • @autumnsylver

Yeah people are just using rhetoric to get people all riled up. Hell even nixon thought universal health care was a good idea and hes the go to republican. Having a centralized health system is ok but i think the nhs is going the right direction by letting doc have more say and breaking up the system. This whole making everyone pay an ins company is a stupid stop gap.

  • And honestly, for an atheist, you have quite the Christian view on morality. I guess Liberals and Christians are the same thing?

  • Those people probably have that wealth because they worked for it and earned it. They have the qualities it takes to be successful. Success and inequality are a divine part of nature.

You seriously expect the rest of the country to make up for the stupid and lazy that are currently leeching our resources dry?

  • Hey, how about this option. You move to Europe and we stick to the Constitution. Nowhere in that document or it's amendments does it say that we must pay for one's healthcare. This issue, like many others should be left for the states to decide. Not to mention you're telling the middle class to screw off, as if they aren't citizens and don't deserve a say.

  • Why do people talk to their cameras?

Talk about the cost of asprin, what about weed!

911 was an inside job, you think they want to give you healthcare, they're rather nuke you in a tower.

  • YOU PLACED A GREAT POINT THERE ALSO our country is full of these corruption. i am also sick of it.

  • Are you sick of your LORD & SAVIOR going on a $35,000.00 one week long vacation after only being on the job for 7 fucking months??????????

At your expense, and ALL the rest of the taxpayers expense.

    FUCKING WAKE UP DING-DONG.

  • every social advance our country has known has had undeservedly proud conservatives dragging their fucking heels.

LIBERAL Not limited to established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.

Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress & tolerant of the ideas & behavior of others; broad-minded.

    willing to give unstintingly. :-D

without liberals, women wouldn't have the vote. no civil rights movement. there'd still be slavery!

  • Can you please tell me one thing that Gov't runs right? What is in the health care bill do you know? And you know that they will put 300 pages of shit in it the night before they vote on it so way read it??This is not about health care it is about your freedom!!!

  • We are a country of ME, not a country of WE, and it has led to this.

  • I like it! Right On, Sister! Finally, an honest person.

  • am i the only peron who couldnt keep a straight face while watching this?

  • mmm, stand back so i can check out your body baby

  • You are angry for all the wrong reasons. People at town hall meetings are just tools. Mindless tools. They are driven by their masters on fox and all other conservative outlets and aren't voicing their own opinions. Only what they are told to do and say. Most of these people are religious and are taught to be lambs so when their shepard says Baaaa as loud as you can to drown out the others, they BAAAAAAAAA!!! The system is flawed and only works in favor of the corporations. It's sick and wrong.

  • I completely agree. In fact, I've noticed that my editing ended up making it seem like I was talking about the rich people the whole time. The problem with rants is that most of what is going on inside my head doesn't come out, just bits and pieces lashing out in different directions.

My understanding of the whole thing, and even my opinion on healthcare, is not expressed in this. The only thing that is really consistent in it is the emotion that I was feeling about the whole thing.

  • thats why rants don't communicate what you think as well as a calm collected statement

  • I fully agree, but they feel damn good. (^.^)

This rant was never meant to be taken as "what I think" only as what I feel. Both are important and they both have their place. In my opinion, you rant with the people who believe what you believe and you calmly explain what you think to those who don't agree. That process has gotten reversed in town hall meetings, and that's why it has become ridiculous.

  • Yes. You're actual stance on healthcare is as un-clear as fog in the morning dew.

  • If people stopped killing each other where would we be? Utopia? BORING.

I like the glasses by the way, gives you this pissed librarian look that's damn sexy for some reason.

  • holy shit i love this girl

  • You have very low standards then.

  • Hey, why don't you go troll somewhere else.

You obviously didn't enjoy the video, and that's fine, but you should go watch something that will make you happy now. Seriously, it is no longer productive or healthy for you to be here.

  • Please dont equate my 1st amend rights with trolling. If you people are going to get involved in politics, then you will have to accept constructive criticism. You are just frustrated b/c you thought you were going to go viral, but you are stalled at 2000 views. LOL...

    Palin/Jeb Bush 2012!!

    P.S.

Dont be intimidated by people who are smarter then you. I gradurated with a b+ from one of the biggest high schools in Mississippi.

  • 1) you are now just being rude. You may have had something to say before, but being a jerk isn't constructive. I only asked you to live and let live.

    2) I'm not sure what your P.S. is trying to prove; is it supposed to be a joke? Mississippi is ranked 49th in education in the nation. That's not something to brag about.

And how about your university degree? I graduated cum laude from the 10th largest university in the country. What does that prove? This is not a dick waving contest.

  • If Palin wins the 2012 primary I am permanently leaving the Republican party and voting for Obama.

  • Oh and lets not also forget another lesson from the right.

Ignoring large sections of the constitution like Habeas Corpus, needing warrents and other civil rights IS NOT a government run amok.

    Ignore that.

But if the government tries to help people with a program not mentioned nor really denied by the constitution, that is going too far!

    IT"S FASCISM!

Because as we all know the first thing Hitler did was round up the Jews... and let them get free health care so they could live longer.

  • Kick some fucking ass, Everyone needs to see this video.

  • You go, girl!

  • Although I have not heard from you personally, if a previous comment hurt you or offended you I am truly sorry.

The comment was based on my honest opinion that the two genders balance and edify each other within the context of a healthy relationship. A man needs a women to smooth out the rough edges and vice versa. I regret my hasty words and again ask your forgiveness.

    God Bless

  • I accept your apology, although I was not offended (this is the internet after all) and actually found an odd bit of truth in your original statement.

The only reason this got recorded in the first place is because my partner of 7 years is on a 6 week business trip to Japan and, coming home to an empty apartment, I had no one to discuss my frustrations with.

So, yes, I think that when you have a loved one who is there for you and understands you, these displays don't go public. Well spotted :)

  • Two companions of a same sex partnership can "smooth out" each others' "rough edges" in a "healthy relationship" just as well -- it doesn't need to be only a man and woman.

I think I know when I smell the stench of more of that rotten religious-based gay bashing from a religious-based bigoted turd.

  • WELL SAID!!!

  • LOL. anybu86 made your comment come to my attention, and i have to say, you're a very sad sad man. the world gets better and better every day, and all you want is for it to be like yesterday? why? because men used to have more power? is that a selfish attempt at power from you? lol, pathetic

  • FAIL. A man does not need a woman and vice versa, but nice try at not apologizing. I see you're still going at the game of being a dishonest arrogant jerk. How's the view from upon your high horse? The only thing worse than your lack of integrity is your drivel you call poetry...you make Stephanie Meyer look good.

  • Good work, BornWithoutReligion! You are spot on.

  • This is how people turn out when they are "born without religion"

If she is right that we all have the right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" then why does she support killing babies that are still growing in the womb?

Maybe her dad should have been more responsible and got a job with health care benefits. and maybe he should have brought his own aspirin!

  • Let's try this again. Stop making assumptions.

    1) How do you know anything about my stance on abortion? Did I mention it in this video without noticing? I didn't think so.

    2) If they had given him the option, he would have. Hospitals in this country do not do not provide a "menu" of prices. Only a bill. They also don't allow you to bring in your own painkillers or medication. Even if you refuse to take what they bring they will charge you for what they prescribe and bring to you without asking

  • So let me get this straight - it is ok for you to make outrageous assumptions, but as soon as someone else does it you jump all over them?

    Typical.

  • Well, Mr. Soldiers, I like your christian attitude telling someone to kill themselves. I missed when Jesus said for you folks to do that.

And they're not babies until the 22nd week :)

And soldiers, you do realize not everyone has the same economic opportunities, eh? Well, no, you probably don't. Pity, that.

  • "NewChristianSoldiers" : Jesus doesn't kill, he turns the other cheek and he expects you and I to care for the sick, poor, and the elderly. He also instructs us to visit people in jail.

Jesus healed people regardless of who they were and whether they had Blue Cross Blue Shield.

And Jesus through the money changers *insurance cos and strong arm men" out of the temple.

  • You look like one of Obamas health care workers telling your grandparent that they can't get a hip replacement or heart surgery because they are too old.

you are a mean whore and you should kill yourself to lower our health care costs.

  • What in the world are you talking about?

    1) I never even said I supported Obama's plan. I simply said I didn't want to hear from the town hall idiots anymore because they are not adding to the debate, they are clouding it.

    2) Why do "Christian Soldiers" always harbor so much hate for people? And why are you recommending the "sin" of suicide? Don't you think telling someone else to sin is wrong? You're promoting the "devil's work," how christian of you...

  • NewChristianSoldiers is obvious Christian in name and not in nature. I have seen more people often labelled as 'undesirables' who actually seem to give more of a damn about their fellow man than goodly Christians who claim to work for a being who wants the best for us.

How can you follow the words of the bible and ignore one of it's main commandments: "Love thy neighbour as you would love yourself"? How can 'good' people share such a selfish view?

  • If anyone finds this mentioned in the Huffington Post, could you please PM me the link? I can't find it anywhere...

  • At democraticunderground they have your "rant" in their video section and you're a hero over there now.

Of course, these are the same idiots who cheered Cindy Sheehen the last several years when she protested Bush, but now hate her for doing the same thing to Obama. So besides being mental midgets, they're very fickle. Just watch your back with them.

I know you claim this is a "rant," but telling people you don't care about their concerns will make them not care about yours. Promise.

  • Thanks for the heads up.

And I hear what you're saying on my video. Despite how I come off in this video, the reason I am so angry is because I don't see any "concerns" being voiced in Town Hall meetings, just angry, selfish people not wanting to help others. It made me mad, so I yelled about it, and now I feel better.

I'm off to democraticunderground to see what's going on. Peace!

  • I must disagee. They're not angry without a cause nor are they selfish. They've seen what's being offered and don't like it, which is their right. Too many Congressmen who want the legislation are dancing around rather than addressing their questions so I can't blame them. I don't want it either, there's better ways to deal with it than gov't involvement. A gov't, incidentally, that I won't trust to not misuse my personal information. And I find libs to be more controlling than conservatives.

  • I saw the evil lil hussie posted all through huffpost also.

  • Awesome!!! You may have just made my day (^.^)

  • Coming from the UK the comment that you have never seen a GP would seem strange if I hadn't been listening in on this debate.

Just out of interest, I earn £900 per month, and pay £120 in tax (rounding off here) of which £48 goes to natinal insurance, thats health service and state pension.

I can see as many doctors as I like, for as many opinions as I like and it costs me nothing. Do you think this is acceptable? Just looking for an opinion as I don't know US pay/tax rates.

  • You are a brave and awesome woman. I agree 100% with your views on healthcare and the greedy people in this country.

    5/5, subbed.

  • US for-profit healthcare is the most expensive in the world (and provides the least coverage, ranks 37 in the world) *because* of the profits, part of which comes from your tax money.

Better healtcare could easily be funded if you'd remove the for-profit middle men from between you and your doctor.

  • Why are all these republicans so worried about having to help ppl? What's wrong with helping people? Do they not realize that tax money is used for things that not only help themselves but also other people?!?!?!

Canadians and Europeans help other ppl with their healthcare programs, are we really that elitist that we balk at that idea here? (rhetorical question)

  • Well, not that I want to defend the douchebags that took over my party, but lower taxes do help the economy. I'm fine with NHS if we implement it in a smart way that doesn't cause a massive tax spike, but the plan the Dems have put forward seems to accomplish absolutely nothing at a very expensive price.

  • I'm not talking about what taxes will be. I'm talking about right now. And yes, lower taxes are nice! But it seems that the Republicans plans for lower taxes comes at the expense of middle and lower class America. Of course taxes will have to be raised, but if it works out they could level out in the future *shrug* It all depends on where you stand socio-economically.

  • It often does come at the expense of those people, unfortunately. I'm all for this program in principle - I just think the execution is sloppy, and unfortunately our political system does a really poor job at being efficient.

So my main concerns are a program that will balloon out of control and not be properly funded or managed will be the end result (like social security is ATM). If those problems are adequately addressed, though, I'm all for it. Oh, and we need tort reform.

  • Dammit, 5 stars isn't enough.

  • Can't help your own people but its ok to nation building using a totally funded government agency called the military...

  • I'm all for health care reform. Repeal EMTALA, Medicare, Medicaid, S-CHIP, SS, etc. :-)

  • Oh and the assumptions you make in your video only further show your ignorance.

  • Mrs. Rand? Is that you?

Your books really suck by the way. Enjoy rotting in Hell!

  • Why do people think that the right to life means the right to be born? That would be the right "to become alive" which is quite different.

The "Life" that is protected in the constitution is a promise by the government to do it's best to maintain the general welfare of it's people to reduce preventable deaths. Police and Firefighters are part of it, but healthcare is too. It's time our government stepped up and started really protecting our right to live healthy, happy lives.

  • You know what? After watching this video again, i am no longer angered by you. I just feel so sorry for you.

  • And after reading all of your comments again I feel sorry for you. It's sad how much the education system in our country has failed you.

  • Comment removed

  • If somebody has a screen cap of that comment, please PM me...

  • "You're ugly." Is that all you guys can come up with? I haven't seen a single worthwhile retort in pages of comments. All I see are petty, nasty insults.

The discourse in this country has truly reached a nadir.
