Dude i know the ppv wasnt epic - but it was decent- and those fans u call suck ups - there were plenty of times during the night where fans cheered "tna" - shelly vs young and beer money vs Lethal consequences... The main event was good - not awesome but good and Sting is great- ANgle as well.... team 3d was there to break the rules and have tag competitors going for singles gold.... all in all i enjoyed this show and Im glad Sting is finally getting a serious title reign in TNA.
I love TNA, but I didn't like the PPV, it was anti-climatic, and the main event that was hyped so much was short and uneventful. As for the E, it's shit, but it's wrestling, which is what i watch..I watch wrestling, I don't really care what it is.
At the next E PPV, trythis--it works. Go into it with no expectations AT ALL. You'd be surprised that if anything, you actually enjoy it.

Paul Heyman could be successful with TNA in a booking capacity - which since he doesn't own the company is all he would have to do. Heyman's problem was keeping his finances in check and since he would be free of this burden he could help TNA move away from their current ideology of multiman main events, gimmick matches and nonsensical rules and storylines. Lets not forget when Heyman booked Smackdown in 2002 the product was of a very high quality.
after this MEM storyline sting wont have the belt the only reason he has it is beacuse it will cause him and kurt to fued and will lead to sting turning on MEM and joining the frontline and ending the fued probably within the next one or two ppvs

The Legends belt fits Booker T cus it pleases his ego. Your thinking way too much about it when it comes to who it gets defended against. anyone who wins it will only be bruising Booker T's massive ego. TNA copies everything stupid about WWE, yet fails copy something actually good that WWE does. WWE booked title changes and surprise returns on their "throw away ppv's" then launched an ad campaign highlighting the fact that every ppv is a must see.

There's just 1 problem Tslay. Nobody watches ROH. Hell nobody knows ROH even exist. You ask the average fan who Brian Danielson is and they'll go..huh?? Same thing with Nigel Mcguinnes, Mschif, Lufisto, Daizee Haze, or any other spot monkey that wrestles there.
Problem with that with the exception of the UK shows and PPVs..ROH often has out drawn TNA at houseshows. I have news for you if you went to a WWE show and asked the fans who alot of the young talent was in TNA they wouldn't know either.
Booker T didn't actually come up with the belt. That's just the storyline. Cuz they wanted Booker to be the champ, but they knew if they just gave it to him, it would be the biggest mistake ever. If they let him win it, big mistake there too, since there's tons better. So he had to "create" it.
But I think they're gonna put the Legends belt on AJ at Destination X. They have to. AJ is a three time triple crown winner. That's just fuckin unheard of. And ODB is always on fire. Well that makes no sense at all. PPVS are supposed to be the shit. That's why people pay to see them. They book big matches, but they book the same people to win them. Sting. Honestly, I don't think I've seen Sting lose a match since he got back. And if I did, it wasn't an important one.
WWE does the same thing. They have over 12 PPVs a year. However, the only ones that matter, that make the most money is Wrestlemania, King of the Ring (back in the day), SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and the Royal Rumble. Those were the big ones.
Those are just naturally their biggest ones. Just like Destination X, Bound for Glory, Slammiversary, etc. But WWE still puts their all into a PPV(although Summerslam this year and Wrestlemania 24 sucked dick)

There's ways to fix TNA, but why even bother giving some suggestions? they don't listen anyway. They're just gonna keep Joe and AJ where they're at. Keep hiding Daniels under a mask. Keep Matt Morgan in the midcard. Keep half assing the X-Division. Keep Cheerleader Melissa, who's probably one of the best women's wrestlers on the roster, in that annoying waste of a gimmick that is Raisha Saeed. Keep booking Rhaka Kahn in matches even though she can't work...

No, it's not because things aren't going MY way...it's because things aren't going a lot of people's way. I can offer up tons of ideas that make sense from this point moving forward, but TNA won't listen. This MEM storyline could have put the young guys on the map, yet they lose ALL THE TIME. The fans want to see Joe and AJ as leaders, not as second string whipping boys to Rhino and 3D. And there's a lot fans that feel this way. So why doesn't TNA EVER listen.
Impact ratings haven't gone up all that much...hmm maybe because instead of providing a decent amount of wrestling you have too many video packages, backstage segments, and pre-taped skits that take away from the quality of the show instead of adding to it. They're searching to find a replacement for Gail Kim to bring some respectability back to the Knockouts, yet they have Cheerleader Melissa right under their noses but she's in a burka. So waste more money when u have good in house talent
The sad thing is that they actually do have matches, but 90% of them you have to watch on the internet (like youtube). Why don't they put the matches on TV and save the stupid "rough cut" for the internet.
The X-Division matches are usually the best thing about a TNA ppv. Yet they treat it like it's almost non-existent half the time. i'm not saying it needs to be the focal point of the show...but if your fans have been begging for 2 years to give us more X-Division, you'd think by now they'd get the message. They're ppv's do better numbers when Joe is in the main event, you would think they'd book him to look strong?
I remember some rumors back in late 2006 that TNA wanted a change in direction because they kept hitting a wall in terms of getting a bigger rating and growing as a company in general. Hence why Russo was brought in.
Now they are still stagnant in terms of rating but the product is worse because of the booking team.
You need a change in the creative department ASAP. Listen to your fans TNA! We wouldn't be putting any comments if we didn't care!
I hated it. You cannot sell PPVs with only having one face win. Sure, it generates heat, but if you constantly have heels winning and heels getting the big pushes, what's there to hope for? And no title changes at a PPV? What's up with that?
Against All Odds was a horrible Pay Per View. TNA won't get anywhere with the current creative team. They have no clue what they are doing. For example, they job a very talented wrestler, Chirs Sabin, to someone whose gimmick doesn't fit him and can't wrestle. It's idiotic things like this that keep TNA from advancing. TNA need a new creative team and a new creative direction. The current storylines make little sense.

Dude i know the ppv wasnt epic - but it was decent- and those fans u call suck ups - there were plenty of times during the night where fans cheered "tna" - shelly vs young and beer money vs Lethal consequences... The main event was good - not awesome but good and Sting is great- ANgle as well.... team 3d was there to break the rules and have tag competitors going for singles gold.... all in all i enjoyed this show and Im glad Sting is finally getting a serious title reign in TNA.

I love TNA, but I didn't like the PPV, it was anti-climatic, and the main event that was hyped so much was short and uneventful. As for the E, it's shit, but it's wrestling, which is what i watch..I watch wrestling, I don't really care what it is.
At the next E PPV, trythis--it works. Go into it with no expectations AT ALL. You'd be surprised that if anything, you actually enjoy it.

Paul Heyman could be successful with TNA in a booking capacity - which since he doesn't own the company is all he would have to do. Heyman's problem was keeping his finances in check and since he would be free of this burden he could help TNA move away from their current ideology of multiman main events, gimmick matches and nonsensical rules and storylines. Lets not forget when Heyman booked Smackdown in 2002 the product was of a very high quality.

The Legends belt fits Booker T cus it pleases his ego. Your thinking way too much about it when it comes to who it gets defended against. anyone who wins it will only be bruising Booker T's massive ego. TNA copies everything stupid about WWE, yet fails copy something actually good that WWE does. WWE booked title changes and surprise returns on their "throw away ppv's" then launched an ad campaign highlighting the fact that every ppv is a must see.

Problem with that with the exception of the UK shows and PPVs..ROH often has out drawn TNA at houseshows. I have news for you if you went to a WWE show and asked the fans who alot of the young talent was in TNA they wouldn't know either.

Booker T didn't actually come up with the belt. That's just the storyline. Cuz they wanted Booker to be the champ, but they knew if they just gave it to him, it would be the biggest mistake ever. If they let him win it, big mistake there too, since there's tons better. So he had to "create" it.

WWE does the same thing. They have over 12 PPVs a year. However, the only ones that matter, that make the most money is Wrestlemania, King of the Ring (back in the day), SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and the Royal Rumble. Those were the big ones.

yeah i respect them too, for they have done heaps for this business, esspecially ric flair, but sting has done way more for the business, he carried wcw on his back for 10 years, when he was still a rookie, he had to leave his newlywed bride home while he travelled 14 hours a day so that he could wrestle one match and get under paid, he used to drink a mug full of blended tuna mixed with orange juice for protein, he couldnt afford a fucking matress, that is commitment, aj styles didnt do that!

TNA is getting worse, the matches are slowing down. Y Rhino and Team 3D are leaders of Frontline makes no sense. It shud have bin AJ, Joe and Daniels. Y is Petey Williams still emulating Scott Steiner? Hardly anything makes sense in TNA anymore

There's ways to fix TNA, but why even bother giving some suggestions? they don't listen anyway. They're just gonna keep Joe and AJ where they're at. Keep hiding Daniels under a mask. Keep Matt Morgan in the midcard. Keep half assing the X-Division. Keep Cheerleader Melissa, who's probably one of the best women's wrestlers on the roster, in that annoying waste of a gimmick that is Raisha Saeed. Keep booking Rhaka Kahn in matches even though she can't work...

No, it's not because things aren't going MY way...it's because things aren't going a lot of people's way. I can offer up tons of ideas that make sense from this point moving forward, but TNA won't listen. This MEM storyline could have put the young guys on the map, yet they lose ALL THE TIME. The fans want to see Joe and AJ as leaders, not as second string whipping boys to Rhino and 3D. And there's a lot fans that feel this way. So why doesn't TNA EVER listen.

Impact ratings haven't gone up all that much...hmm maybe because instead of providing a decent amount of wrestling you have too many video packages, backstage segments, and pre-taped skits that take away from the quality of the show instead of adding to it. They're searching to find a replacement for Gail Kim to bring some respectability back to the Knockouts, yet they have Cheerleader Melissa right under their noses but she's in a burka. So waste more money when u have good in house talent

The sad thing is that they actually do have matches, but 90% of them you have to watch on the internet (like youtube). Why don't they put the matches on TV and save the stupid "rough cut" for the internet.

The X-Division matches are usually the best thing about a TNA ppv. Yet they treat it like it's almost non-existent half the time. i'm not saying it needs to be the focal point of the show...but if your fans have been begging for 2 years to give us more X-Division, you'd think by now they'd get the message. They're ppv's do better numbers when Joe is in the main event, you would think they'd book him to look strong?

I remember some rumors back in late 2006 that TNA wanted a change in direction because they kept hitting a wall in terms of getting a bigger rating and growing as a company in general. Hence why Russo was brought in.
Now they are still stagnant in terms of rating but the product is worse because of the booking team.
You need a change in the creative department ASAP. Listen to your fans TNA! We wouldn't be putting any comments if we didn't care!

I hated it. You cannot sell PPVs with only having one face win. Sure, it generates heat, but if you constantly have heels winning and heels getting the big pushes, what's there to hope for? And no title changes at a PPV? What's up with that?

Against All Odds was a horrible Pay Per View. TNA won't get anywhere with the current creative team. They have no clue what they are doing. For example, they job a very talented wrestler, Chirs Sabin, to someone whose gimmick doesn't fit him and can't wrestle. It's idiotic things like this that keep TNA from advancing. TNA need a new creative team and a new creative direction. The current storylines make little sense.
