my 2 bobs worth...600 sportsbikes are geared like a moto crosser, high revs, low gears and want to GO GO GO ALL THE TIME.Going from a low power dirt bike is quite a step. Main thing is dont get over confident and wear protective gear, and sticky, track tyres help.

Sports tourers are safer, mainly cos they like going at a steady pace and dont egg you on by wanting to peak al he time.
