yup.. i neverr... figure how to open that damnn quickpwn.. but i already jailbreak my ipod.. i changed the firmware 2.2.1 to 3.0 and i used redsn0w! for the jailbreak!

its really efficient and 100% secure..

i recomend you to use it.. and its better to upgrade the firmware to 3.0..

because you have a lott of options!!

ohh and anoher thing: you cant use redsn0w for jailbreaking a 2.2.1 firmware.. it has to be 3.0!

just google it!! i'm ssure you'll do it!

for people who are stuck on the "wait for ur ipod to go into recovery mode" or whatever page..there are 2 things u need to have in order for it to work...

1.) make sure itune is opened b4 u launch quick pwn.

2.) keep ur itouch on the menu screen the whole time...by menu screen i mean where u can see all ur apps..it won;t start if ur on the "slide to unlock" screen

ok i got everything for this but each time after i clik the link to continue after it has to detect the ipod i keep on coming up with Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the applicaion will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

if you want to know i'll tell you the step by step process i did.

PART 1

well for me it wouldn't go into recovery mode.

this is the step by step process i did.

the first thing i did DIFFERENT was i didn't click the Replace Boot Logos box.

(the one with the pineapple. not sure if this matters but i saw on another vid

that you don't need it, mine still loaded with the pineapple image)

Next i get the same issue that i can't get the ipod into recovery mode.

the steps i did to solve this was:

1.) Leave the itouch plugged in with QuickPwn still loading for your itouch to turn into recovery mode.

2.) I then turned my itouch into DFU mode (power button and home button together) until i get a black screen.

3.) I unplugged my itouch and reinserted it WHILE HOLDING the home button.

4.) Release the home button after about 5-10 seconds when plugged in.

*SIDE NOTE*

I read about doing these steps and the purpose was to manually put your itouch into recovery mode for other

purposes.

Manually putting your itouch into recovery mode DOES NOT require QuickPwn.

So I figured why not MANUALLY put it in recovery mode since its not AUTOMATICALLY doing it in QuickPwn.

PART 4

You should get an error saying something similiar like there was a connection problem.

Don't cloes the program.

There should be a pop-up saying something like retry again.

Hit Ok.

It should take you back a page before in QuickPwn asking you to make sure if your device is plugged in.

Hit the next arrow button and it SHOULD (did for me) read it in recovery mode.
