I have one which was given to me in 1999 and i'd really like to get the movies and pictures off of the cartridge and onto my Mac. Any idea how i would do that?
Badass find! I believe these were called "Palmcorders" because you hold them in your palm. The IR port is for the remote control (which probably came with it, when it's bought). I've never seen a camera without a backlit LCD, which is cool :D It's a shame the tape is outdated, because now, you can't change it out, should it fail. Cool find though, Thanks for sharing!
that is nice. never seen that before. vidoe quality is not bad. almost better then a lot of digital. the lens would be called optical since they move. the fixed ones are digital btw.it you have to choose between optical and digital should get/use optical. have a hi8 and a vhsc camera but the rechargeable battery are not good and can't really get video onto computer from them. wish i could get digital camera for pictures and/or video since the one on my phone sucks. what is that you have on?
