Societies with highest meat consumption also have higher rates of murder/rape etc. Mostly vegan societies like Jains these acts of violence don't happen.

Humans can't 'eat meat' but may consume meat. Meat is not properly digested for humans and 'eating' connotes digestion.
Also, human 'meat-eaters' can't 'love a human' unless they believe 'love' involves feeding other humans carcinogens, since meat causes cancer among other diseases.
The connection between torturing animals and later torturing humans is long since a long time. When people get through with torturing animals and some times even get approval, they work their way to humans. Society needs to openly state that animal abuse and cruelty is plain wrong. It's unacceptable.

Four police officers were murdered in what looked like a mob assassination in Washington state coffeehouse the morning of Nov. 29, 2009. The man local police are seeking for questioning is Maurice Clemmons, 37, a man with a lifetime history of violence, burglary, aggravated robbery, theft, and rape. Clemmons was serving what was essentially a life sentence in Arkansas before having his sentence commuted by then-Gov. Mike Huckabee.

And, the descriptions of what the serial killers did to helpless animals before moving on to people...my God. I would SERIOUSLY injure a person I caught doing such things...no reason to be politically correct at all.
There are very close connection to the minds of sports hunters with these serial killers. what is the difference? both kill for fun, amusement and self gratification.
Animal abuse and it's relation to "murderer-killer connection" is so well documented, yet the punishment for animal abuse is minimal. I would think an individual that works in a slaughterhouse would also have a cold and calose outlook on human lives. Disregard the "food" aspect as some people may try to relate this, but the physical act of slaughtering / murdering a living being. It just has to desensitize people and that's not a good thing.

This is an amazing video. I noticed the connection years ago when I catalogued newspaper clippings from the daily's where crimes of violence from abattoir workers, killings, usually by men but women too. Animal rights/welfare and criminology being close to my heart, it improves ones life. I haven't experienced anyone go into the subject with any great length like this video does. Certain careers/jobs create killers, and the experience can easily impact on innocents in every day life and does.
Just as torture is torture, compassion is compassion. I became a nurse because I couldn't stand to see someone suffer without doing something to help alleviate that suffering. I became a vegan for the same reason.

In the USA since the computerization of criminal records they had actually seen all violent murderers had started their careers by torturing animals.
There is also information about domestic violence or family pet is often the victim. In Great Britain Scotland Yard has started the same search and get the same results. Unfortunately my English is not good enough to explain this here but I would do in the video.

@1957stan You're purposely not getting it. I don't say everyone who eats meat are murderers, but they promote the behavior by their diet. We healthy vegans are proof, animal products are not needed. With 7 billion people on the planet, growing animals as food can only be horribly cruel, and if everybody hunted or ate wildlife, the animals would be wiped out before long. And I've seen vicious, insane death threats against truly non-violent animal lovers by your friends, so that speaks for itself.

And since the whole organic thing is a scam to make money anyways, what nutrients do you think they use?

I agree that it is a very healthy lifestyle, and most vegans are compassionate, good people with a great respect for the natural world. Humans can't 'eat meat' but may consume meat. Meat is not properly digested for humans and 'eating' connotes digestion.
Also, human 'meat-eaters' can't 'love a human' unless they believe 'love' involves feeding other humans carcinogens, since meat causes cancer among other diseases.

When people get through with torturing animals and some times even get approval, they work their way to humans. Society needs to openly state that animal abuse and cruelty is plain wrong. As Governor of Arkansas for a decade, Mike Huckabee opposed every effort to make deliberate, malicious acts of cruelty to animals a felony crime.
Incidentally, Huckabee's son, David, as a 17-year old Boy Scout leader in 1998, hung, stabbed and stoned a stray dog to death. His son wasn't charged with animal cruelty, but even if he had been, it's only a misdemeanor in Arkansas.

As governor of Arkansas, Huckabee aggressively pushed for the early release of a convicted rapist despite being warned by numerous women that the convict had sexually assaulted them or their family members, and would likely strike again. Thanks to Huckabee's intervention, Wayne Dumond was let out of prison 25 years before his sentence would have ended. The convict went on to rape and murder at least one other woman.

Four police officers were murdered in what looked like a mob assassination in Washington state coffeehouse the morning of Nov. 29, 2009. The man local police are seeking for questioning is Maurice Clemmons, 37, a man with a lifetime history of violence, burglary, aggravated robbery, theft, and rape. Clemmons was serving what was essentially a life sentence in Arkansas before having his sentence commuted by then-Gov. Mike Huckabee.
And the ALF and others are called terrorists?!

How does the Oklahoma prison system rehabilitate their criminal offenders? By allowing them to put on a prison rodeo, of course.
Violent criminals are encouraged to terrify animals, violently chase and rope them by their necks, violently yank them down to the ground, violently drag them through the dirt, and then violently tie them up.

Animal abuse and it's relation to "murderer-killer connection" is so well documented, yet the punishment for animal abuse is minimal. I would think an individual that works in a slaughterhouse would also have a cold and calose outlook on human lives. Disregard the "food" aspect as some people may try to relate this, but the physical act of slaughtering / murdering a living being. It just has to desensitize people and that's not a good thing.

This is an amazing video. I noticed the connection years ago when I catalogued newspaper clippings from the daily's where crimes of violence from abattoir workers, killings, usually by men but women too. Animal rights/welfare and criminology being close to my heart, it improves ones life. I haven't experienced anyone go into the subject with any great length like this video does. Certain careers/jobs create killers, and the experience can easily impact on innocents in every day life and does.

In the USA since the computerization of criminal records they had actually seen all violent murderers had started their careers by torturing animals.
There is also information about domestic violence or family pet is often the victim. In Great Britain Scotland Yard has started the same search and get the same results. Unfortunately my English is not good enough to explain this here but I would do in the video.
