@lnquistor53 Dude I would 100% recommend getting one of these. They are great for the money and cover a massive range of tones. They are easy to carry around and pack a punch.....DI'd when playing live they sound HUGE! Get one and you wont be dissapointed.
@lauraeeee The vibrato plus a couple of notes before. The whole video is pretty good, but this part is certainly the best, as far as my ears are concerned.
Greatjob! ***** I've been playing out with the LD750HD for 3 months and I love it. I really liked the bassline you came up with. I love Yamahas. I have a Trb II and a MA3000 :)
hey what are the settings on urr amp? i have the same one n havin trrouble finding "my" tone n want you to use yours as :suqare 1: so i can change it form there :D please and thank you
To get his tone you would need to get his exact amplification setup. For the most part though, to get a nice tone takes time. On bass, to start sounding good, I would say at least a year. On a nylon classical guitar.... at least 2.5 years.
Keep practicing, after a while you just notice your $300 bass sound like a million bucks.
Hey man, yeah I think it would be perfect. It can certianly cope with a drummer, see my other videos for proof of that. Also for gigs it has a PA line out feature. So if not quite loud enough on its own, it will be when put through a PA!
thanks, mate. I've been doing some researching on forums and such, and this seems like a great amp, probably perfect for me. I guess I'm going to buy one.
Your welcome! I dont think you can go wrong. I've played through rigs that are a load more expensive than this and they dont sound as good, to me any way. For funk bass playing they are tops!
I got the bass from Ebay and when I got it out of the box it was covered in scratched and muck! The bridge pickup also didn't work! So I cleaned her up and did a spot of DIY on the electronics and shes all good now.
that was awesome man, keep playing!

nice bass than you had buy !! this is the same kind like john Myung but on a 4 string version ?
PageJeremy 2 years ago
Yeah man I guess it is! I never thought of that and looking at the specs I guess it is similar to the Myung model, but with 2 less strings!
However, I dont think that John is too much into his funk bass playing!
