This is my favorite JJ case of all-time. I have nothing but great respect for the defendant. He had all his necessary evidence and thoroughly and properly answered all of JJ's questions. I feel terrible that he got yanked around by the office of Mr. Clueless, Attorney-at-Law. I looked him up, and he doesn't appear to have any penalties. The lawyer and Judge Judy both know contracts are moveable. When the defendant gave them new paperwork he changed the terms of the law firms original contract. The law firm ignored him. By ignoring the law firm did in fact contract to represent him on May 5th. It is called agreement by acquiensence. The law firm accepted his paperwork and therefore accepted the change in contract and by BAR rules, statutes and LAW. Judy knew there was no "tresspass" no physical damage. 100% correct ruling.
