  • @Shambletine your treatment of this person is disgusting. capybaras do just fine in houses. have you ever had a capybara? they thrive off human attention it they're domesticated. if you returned a pet capybara to the wild it would get eaten or something. dogs weren't domesticated to begin with, why don't you go abuse some dog owner's videos or something? also regarding what you said about the owner having a mental complex... you can't talk, it seems all you like to do is abuse people on youtube.

  • @Shambletine

Would you propose to send a captive breed capybara in the wild? Shes not a dick. Now a dick move would be somebody taking a wild animal from the wild. When buying an exotic animal never buy captive caught. And if the capybara did not want to do any tricks I'm sure it could say "screw that" and walk away. Go nag about puppies getting beaten on you tube. Those are the people with a mental complex.

  • Wow at tv capybara are far smaller , this one is HUGE

  • Wow, amazing! I've never seen anything quite like that. He looks like a very good natured guy. I'm going to go do some more research on capybaras!

  • oh my gosh, a few weeks ago i commented saying, " they are like a giant pig" OOPS i meant to say giant GUINEA pig!! i am so sorry to everyone, i really did not mean to disrespect anyone, or any pigs out there. please accept my apology.

  • @emilythebee You fucking bitch, HOW DARE YOU. Its too late for an apology, and in order to be forgiven you must kiss a capybara on video.. using tongue.

  • @maarrryyyyy how dare you insult me like that. this is not a place for curse words, its a place for the love of the worlds largest rodent! SAYYY WAAHOOOOOO for capybaras people! whos with me!

  • @emilythebee Well since you didnt makeout with one, IM GOING TOOOOOO

  • @CorrieClassics i know eh! its so cute though!

  • are popsicles okay for capybaras to eat?

  • So the average rodent is usually an inch tall to five inches. A capybara is about the size of a Labrador

  • WHAT THE!!!!!!!!! THOSE ARE SO COOL

  • SOO CUTE I WANT! :)

    is that a popsicle?

    can they eat popsicles?

  • @greencandy808 yeah i asked that too

  • how muuch cold can they tolerate?

  • @kuwaizair good question!

  • capybaras are rodents that should be left in the wild.. crazy to keep one as a pet

  • @akas0ndra so are a lot of animals, but people keep them as pets. like you said, its a rodent which in this case can be a pet.

  • ok i done here juss get da kid out da hamster suit

  • this animal is u.g.l.y why have one ewwwww!!!!

  • @topdoggirl12510 Are you retarded? How dare you judge animals by looks. I bet you abuse your animals, you pig!

  • @vidiomaster303 you tell them!

  • @emilythebee lol...late reply, my bad. but it is true. its not really good to judge like that...

  • @vidiomaster303 sorry i forget what i said, i am sorry if i, in anyway, cause harm to you or your family.

  • yep capybara

  • @msoulforged yes!

  • were u the one who got bit by him? so u would say in general that they are gentle giants!?

  • @Miguelsr1rst yeah i think they are, i never had one but i have 2 guinea pigs, and they basically are like a giant pig. the bite can hurt because of their teeth, but they dont bite often.

  • I got brain freeze just lookin at him eat that!

  • I am not talking about where the animals came from "smart ass". I know we have hundreds of species from the ecosystem that now are part of our day life. You might think it's an ugly animal but it's still a wild one. Would you pet a Koala Bear, Tiger or other animal just because it's cute ???? Get a life ...

  • i thoghut it was a carrot but when you came closer i saw it was an ice cream :P

  • COME ON GUYS !!!!!!!! This is a wild animal originally from South America and I hate when people think that can pet animals like that !!! He might be cute but I guess you should get a dog, fish or cat !!!!

  • @cleks Have you never seen a fish in the wild? Where did cats and dogs come from? mmmmm, I think the Egyptians caught them in the wild. I would not get this animal because it looks ugly and unhygienic. But not on some ill-conceived notion of it being a wild animal.

  • its a Capibara...it lives in the South America jungle (Amazonas), and it belongs to the family of the rodents....im from Peru....this is a typical animal from here... come visit Peru !!!!

  • You can have these as a pet? I bet there's permits or licenses involved but still this is awesome! It would scare the crap out of most dogs.

  • Capybaras make me laugh. They always look unimpressed.

  • whoa o: ive never seen an aminal like that before o_O

  • I'm scared that thing would attack

  • doesn't look like the brightest pet, but unique.

where do you get one anyway ? and how much does it eat ?

  • Good job! He's probably thinking, What I do just to get some popsicle!

  • me and my friends love caplin and watch all his videos <3

  • oh my god... this is the first time i've seen this animal called caplin... Are they like.. dogs? can they actually be trained and do they like people? do they biteeee??/

  • @EcoTriGem It's actually called a Cappybara. (okay, crap, I just spelled that wrong...xD).

They are, I believe, the world's largest rodent (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!).

I wouldn't know if they're like dogs, not having one, but I do think they can be trained to do some basic tricks. Like all animals, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't bite unlessed threatened! ;)

Again, I might be wrong on some of this information. Somone please correct me if you know the right stuff. ;)

  • @EcoTriGem You can learn more about Caplin by reading his blog (see the video description). He is like a dog in some ways and not in others. He walks on a leash and knows lots of tricks, he's very smart. He's very slow. He can, and has, bitten, and while I doubt he could kill someone, it is a very nasty bite.

  • @caplincapybara

Very cool animal although I couldn't imagine how painful that bite had to be...I've been bitten by hamsters pretty bad and they pale in comparison. The teeth on rodents are pretty vicious and although I'm not sure if the Capybara has teeth like other rodents I would assume so.

  • @EcoTriGem you do know it's called a capybara right? is that what you were asking?

  • cute caplin :)

  • Caplin on a Curious George rug = win.

  • now all he needs is to combine swimming and walking haha i love caplin

  • Aww! Cap can walk!
