Need some advice guys, i have a 94 gt 5.0 but for some reason the car doesnt seem to advance past 4k RPM, it sounds like its going faster but it doesnt advance in speed?? Someone please help
I couldn't help but notice you were almost on E in the video haha, did your fuel light come on after that? haha, I was racing my buddy around town today he's got a 94 cobra and I got a 95 gt and the cars are even they keep up with each other real well, but my car was almost on E when we did that, and after 4 or 5 pulls in second gear I had to get gas cuz my light came on haha, nice car though man.

Look into the Steeda #19 its a good cam as well for a mild build. The Anderson cams are also very good. The Alphabet cams from Ford are pretty old tech compared to what is out there now
Not a problem. Also if you are not already on them its worth joining a few msg board sites, there are lots of guys on there with a wealth of knowledge about anything you could as about. Few of the good ones are stangnet, SN95Forums and Corral, just google search the names Youtube wont let me but a dot with a com after the names.
3.73 now but those are coming out this spring for some 4.10's. Car was still not running that great in the video still had some tuning to do on it. It rips now though
@TravisCBR600 Just stating that you might as well go with the 4.30's. A lot of people make the mistake of going with 3.73's then need more gear. Just didn't want you to make the same mistake twice. The difference between 4.10's and 4.30's is barely noticable. I ran 28" tall tires with 4.88's and it was more streetable then the 3.73's and 26" tall tires on the street. Plus the cruise rpm on the highway was only 300rpm more, easily do able. More gear doesn't equal less streetable.
Nice video. @ serra, your GT with stock heads is running out of breath around 4k. Upgrade heads and valve train for better breathing @ higher rpm.

3.73's are a great street gear. Im only swapping to 4.10's b/c Im not trapping high enough RPM's at the track.

Do 4.30's, the difference between 3.73's and 4.30's is only 400rpm. If you plan on staying N/A, I suggest going 4.56 or 4.88.

I only needed a difference of 400 RPM. Plus the 4.10's are already in. There is no way I would go w/ 4.56 or a 4.88. Its still a street car as well.
