The KME Knife and Broadhead Sharpening System - ElkNut's favorite!

i just ordered one of these. cant wait to try it out on my broadheads. be great to finally have a good sharpener and actually have sharp knives.

Does this sharpener have a stand or do you have to hold it?

@1ElkNut1 It looks like a nice setup. I have the spyderco sharpmaker. It's decent but if the knife is a little "too far gone" it takes a long time to get it back without coarser stones. Will the KME do scissors too?

@1ElkNut1 Thanks for the info... I do alot of scissors for my wife and kids. They always seem to dull quick and it's a shame just to toss them out when they can be resharpened.

Can this sharpen a tanto (i.e. a chisel-like point)?

@whitethronebooks A tanto tip is best sharpened on a file or bench stone, the main cutting blade can be sharpened on the KME though! All natural stones are separate sets from the Diamond sets! ElkNut1

Guys it is a very cool sharpener! It's the best I've ever used for both knives & broadheads. When done your knives are scary sharp! What I like is the KME sets the angle for you & does all the work! Paul

This is the first system i truly believe does what it says. Would you recommend the standard system or the diamond?

Or does the diamond come with the standard stones as well as the diamond ones?

Thanks for sharing. I agree. This is the best system I have seen and the price is reasonable.
