  • There's nothing like a hot meal on the mountain. And the sheer pleasure of cooking and preparing the food outdoors!

    I love it!!!

  • @catascouts You bet buddy :o)

  • LOVE this stuff great stuff guys keep it up!!

  • Thanks man :o) appreciate that!

  • Nice video man, me and my wife used to do hike mountains back in Europe for years just as you to. WTG 5/5

  • Thanks man :o)

  • I'm with BushWoman on the meal review. It is more of a 6 than a 7. I mean its not as good as Beef stroganoff rated an 8! The hike was 5 stars all the way. The climb and then the wind. That must have been one bitter windchill eh? Thanks for taking us along.

  • Thanks for you great comment as always buddy :o) I haven't tried the stroganoff as of yet! It was a little cold not too bad though. Because my Xplorer 4 was in my coat most of the time I didn't want to wait for it to adjust to the outside temp to get a true temp and windchill reading! Call me lazy...hehe! But in reality it was a fairly warm day. I think windchill was at -15c . I'm always glad to share it with my buds :o)

  • Yeah! You and BushWoman are truly happy hikers. What a way to take a day.....

  • Yup, a great day! Finally had some sunshine too :o{)

  • 'Beautiful view man!' One can only agree to that. Cheers

  • You bet! Thanks :o)

  • AWESOME 10/10 beautiful country I need one of them wind gauges thanks for making me spend more money Richard. Oh the wife can't be that pickey she married you he hee.

  • Wow! 10/10? hehe! Thankyou my friend :o) Hey what else is money for but to spend?...LOL! It is an altimeter, barometer, temp and wind gauge, so it gives you windchill too! All for $125 Canadian! Yeah, well...she is the better half :o)

  • Four minutes before more Olympics coverage. You two are soooooo well equipped - who carries a wind gauge with them on a hike - impressive! You have to do a video on the equipment you carry! Show us down south how snowshoeing is really done

  • Ah man, I can't wait for the hockey to start tomorrow :o) It's a pretty kool instrument alright. It's nice to know what's really happenin' up there for sure! I like the altimeter the most. It also gives you windchill if you can stand there long enough to wait for it...LOL!I was thinking about a review on it, but I'm not all that good with gear reviews ! But we'll see :o)

  • @Ggreenvideos Your country has the advantage in hockey - duh! And you had the "Great One" light the torch, and teach the rest of the world how to play the game! Are we still going to be friends after Canada vs USA? Of course, yes! I hope? LOL!

  • Canada may have a slight advantage in hockey! But yes we will still be friends after USA vs Canada ! Even if USA wins...lol !Afterall It is just a game :o) Go team Canada...hehe!

  • You have a windscreen fer that camera mic. son? It's meltin the wax in my ears.

  • Haha!...Just keepin' it real Bro :o)

  • Did someone pea in your stew? hehe

  • nice hike...wicked wind. i have the mountain house chicken stew but haven't tried it yet.

  • Thanks dude :o) They all taste good in the wild...hehe!

  • That was way cool Rich! Just beautiful country. If I didn't have that nagging thing called a job, I know where I would like to relocate. Thanks for taking us along for the trip, it's the only way I'll see a mountain top. 5*****

  • Thanks good buddy! Good to hear from ya :o) Ah yes...the job! I'm happy to share with all my friends across the world. Thank you for your great comment. It is much appreciated :o)

  • YUKON RULES!!!! 5/5

  • Thankyou my friend :o) I'm not sure that it rules though...LOL!

  • Such a contrast between the wind on the mountain top and the quiet on the trail in the woods. I have to say again Rich, you two sure live in some beautiful country. I will bet you never saw anyone else on your trip either :) Great too that you get to share everything with a wife who shares your enthusiasm for the outdoors.

    Jim...

  • Yes, it is such a difference. Even when you first hit the tree line it almost feels like summer...LOL! I'm always glad to share my world with my friends. Toni really is in to this too. Thanks for your great comment my friend :o)

  • Excellent vid, very jealous of you, why do I have to live in a city...?

  • Thanks man! Well, I live in a city too. Planning on moving to the country. Thanks for watching :o)

  • Awesome view, thanks for sharing. What are you using for a reflector plate under your stove?

  • Gad to share it buddy :o) I call it a snow base. It's just the bottom of a large coffee can. Thanks for watching :o)
