I wouldn't say i'm a HUGE collector, but I'm a moderate vinyl collector. that being said, I even know that you should NEVER stack your records on top of each other like pancakes. it ruins them.
0:35 I had bought a designer ( GOLFing, Partying, Travelling, etc) cashmere jumper for some1 but I didN't give it to them coZ the CUNT MINGE didN't deserve it! He does deserve Black/MUSLIM DICKs in his Big mouth though caN't get any as his Teen daughter is SUCKing them all Off, before Him !

Love this movie and this scene as well..but...I wish it could of gone on for a bit longer..because dick wanted to stick around and help him organize his records.
@aussiejed1 I KNOW! It was looking the pondering and just that fact that he couldn't understand what was going on was really causing him true, physical pain lol.
LOVE THIS SCENE!!! ...but I'm sorry, I have 2000 lps and there is no way to put those in "autobiographical" ordrer lol! And he has way more than that. You wouldn't be able to find anything lol.
in some little cancer reasearch shop in hastings when i was on holiday the only problem in shops like that is you dont kno wat they got b4 yu get there nd they dont catalogue wat they got so yu gotta look through every record to see wat yu want
That doesn't sound bad. I am a regular at Goodwill, Salvation Army, and Antique Markets!! LOL I am in there with my suit an tie about 2-3 times per week lol! You never know what will pop up in the music section.
Oh lol I love this because it's actually true. I watch this movie to get ideas. If you like music and understand how the popular music works and the less popular music that is underneath that at the same time, you get every joke in this film.
This scene is how me and many friends and family members live. My Cds are is influencial order, starting with David Bowie.
On me, I mean- basically, the music that I go back to time and time again is on top, whereas obscure singles remain at the bottom. Also, I might have something like The Crusaders ['Street Life'] above someone like The Sugarhill Gang because they influenced both my taste and The Sugarhill Gang's music.
@doctorcropcircles Whats your top 5 in the influencial list?. Got any tips on what to look out for when organising records in autobioographical order?
Love this movie!!! I watch it just for the vinyl!!! A great scene, that was taken out but but is on the deleted scence extra of the DVD is when he goes to the ladies house who is selling her husbands 45s and he has this crazy ass collection! I love that. He even had a 45rpm copy of God save the queen by Sex Pistol (a $20,000 record). You vinly junkies will love that scene. Check it out.
I dont get it. What does he mean by autobiographically?

I'm doing this. Every song that reminds me of a certain time and place, the smell. I put it in. I can listen to my whole life.

"Yes!"
It really does...
I'm gonna try to do this, too.

I love the sound of scorn in his voice when he says "not autobiographical"... like that's the lowest of the low for a true music geek. :)

@aussiejed1 You mean alphabetical. hahaha. Yet, most people I know have the music this way. Me included. Best movie for vinyl lovers ever.

This would be really easy for me because I only own 27 records, and I bought them all last year. :P

This comment has received too many negative votes show
It's obvious no one involved in the making of this movie ever had a music collection.
