mine were awesome for a month. but the weight is bad too, cuz if you let em hang out your jacket or pocket the cable eventually stoppes transmitting.

i got a cheap sony earphone (ex35lp i believe)... reliable, sounds extremely nice for its price (only around 20 bucks) ive tried 5,6 earphones around 20~70 dollars but the ex35lp is by far the best, not to mention that its one of the cheapest.

then they don't feel that good in the ear

they aren't the worst, and they are good as earphones coming with the iphone, but i would never buy them separate...

umm..ipod earphones don't actually sound that bad. Their sound is actually quite full and good, i'm not talking about the skull earphones i'm talking about the ipod earphones. It's the quality build that makes them very bad, the bass in the ipod headphones are decent and the sound is good, mid is good, high is eh, but lows are good. Sennheiser is built on bass so it looks like you're not a audiophile, you're a bass junky.

exactly, look at SHURE headphones. They're one of the top headphones out in the market and they have less bass then ipod earphones. You're a bass junky if you're not accepting of the ipod earphones. The sound is good in my opinion but the sound is not as clear as SHURES. But their bass should be more then enough, if it's not for you then you like to have a lot of bass. Sennheiser is mostly about bass, all their stuff all says "gives you extra bass" or "basswind system".

I hate the apple earbuds as well. Even though they sound really good they're just not designed to fit in any ear the way ones such as these with the different sizes available are. When I use the apple ones I can't turn my head quickly or else they'll fall out and every five minutes I have to press them back into my ear to make them stay.

Because some are better than others. In-Ear ones give better base, others have more drivers for purer sound without distortion. The Apple earphones really don't give true sound.

The skull design makes them look like they're trying too hard to appeal to teens or something, very tacky if you ask me. Save the money on the design and spend it on making it a more sleek, well built ear bud set. Great review!

skull candy headphones are REALLY loud not really a lot of bass these have a lot of bass are loud but the vocals are horrible on these...i would go with some sennheiser headphones they range from 30-50 or more but they are really great heaphones......but if you wanna get either the skull candies or these i'd get the skull candies although they burn out fast
