@Guns4Higher420 The song, while dour is just immaculate and heavy, sexy, ethereal, cosmic and epic the entire things has captured me and it refuses to let me go...I envision this an a murderers theme as he walks through a neighborhood looking for his next victim. The power, eccentricity, and fade out are unstoppable.
The remix artist (if the word artist actually applies) created a soulless, vacuous, cacophony of computerized blips and distorted vocals that bears absolutely no resemblance to the beautiful album version. I'm surprised that RadioHead would allow their name to be associated with this vapid crap.
@Videophile80 Big words and angry opinions only make you seem much less intelligent than you probably are. If you don't like it then move on, that is why the album is there for you to cling to. This remix has a distinct and artistic feel to it, did you ever stop and think that maybe the "artist" wanted something that was his own work and only cited radio head because it was there original work?
@Videophile80 the phrase, "get a life" comes to mind. Why listen to something just to complain about it? No one needs your opinion on what to think about music.
If one person likes it, then it was successful...the number of people who dislike it is irrelevant.
@Videophile80 radiohead's album "kid a" is full of computerised blips and distorted vocals. i'd really like to know if you think that it's also vapid crap.
It seems Radiohead are trying to get the most mileage out of their least substantial music ever with these remixes. Seriously, why couldn't they have done all this with a good album?
@maddhattertime least substantial? its all a matter of opinion. this record was so produced that it becomes easy to mix it with anything, which in my opinion, is what Thom Yorke wanted. I imagine the boys of Radiohead will be putting out an album that sounds even more produced than TKOL. If you don't like this album i'm not so sure that you and Radiohead have a future together. Either way, Radiohead is amazing music.
@maddhattertime: I thought it was a good album. Most artists don't even manage multiple decent songs on a single album. Radiohead churns butter like their survival depended on it. There's definitely nothing wrong with experimenting with new sounds or else all we'd ever have for new music would be most of the mainstream hits you hear on the radio.
most brilliant fade-out I have ever heard

One has to have a perspective of an independent listener.
And this was not something I would buy- Dont think this is outstanding.
