It kind of cracks me up that anyone could get Gackt and Klaha mixed up, really. They're as different in vocal styles as they are in looks. Gackt is beautiful but more feminine, whereas Klaha is much more masculine in both looks and voice. Both beautiful, but in very different ways. I don't think they could've gotten a better replacement for Gackt than Klaha.

I really liked Malice Mizer, but I actually think this kind of songs sucked. Besides this was one of the times they got too carried away by theatrics, instead of focusing on music, which was really the best thing about them, IMHO.

Actually, Kami died after Gackt left. Gackt had gone off on his solo career, and didnt hear about Kami's death until a week after he died. He was on tour at the time and was also unable to attend the funeral.

So after his death, they had no drummer, and no vocalist. So when Klaha came along, they at least had a vocalist, and would hire uncredited substitutes for Kami. (or if I read right, sometimes use previous drum tracks or something)

Klaha and Gact were the BEST mizer vocalists. But I have to admit, I prefer Klaha's voice. It really fits quite well with Mizer's image in their final time.

Well keep in mind while Gackt was on, they were not too dark at all. The Darkest it ever got was Gekka no Yasoukyoku. (which was not much)

They got dark when Kami Died, which was after Gackt left, and before Klaha came in. So Gackt never really got the dark end of the stick, while Klaha got it in full. (unless you count his character in Bara no Konrei...) But even then... Klaha is currently a solo pop artist. :|

I listened to one of his songs. It has NONE of the POWER his voice had in M.M.

Because Moi Dix Mois is Mana's Solo project. None of the other members, (Kozi, Yu~Ki) did. they only appear occasionally on tours with MDM as guests. Klaha couldnt either way though, because he is a vocalist. MDM has a vocalist, so there isnt a place for him
