  • anyone who believes that ab excercises will rid you of belly fat is seriously misinformed. you're genes determine where you store and use fat. create a calorie deficit by excercising and proper nutrition. you will only get abs because of low body fat %.

  • @soldierside365 although i completely agree with you, most people have no clue and need information simplified. For example, most people wouldnt understand what you mean by calorie deficit, dont know how much exercise they need to do etc. And most importantly alot of people find it hard to get motivated once they know all of these things.

    well, understanding the phrase 'calorie deficit' is merely understanding english :P i agree with the motivation aspect. but giving simplified info to motivate someone to do something is wrong (physically and somewhat morally) since it wont produce the desired results. the motivation to lose weight has to be whole hearted, otherwise it wont work, and part of whole hearted effort means learning about your body. that is the most crucial thing about weight loss imo ;)

  • @23viktor23 Wrong. Cardio is not the best for losing fat. You would want to do a combination of weight training, resistance training, and a little cardio. You would want to create an AFTERBURN EFFECT..

  • Nice video for making your body slim and loosing fats, though the exercise is great but still there should be an efficient diet that you could use in order to attain the body you ever wanted. Youtube won't allow me to post the link but you can check it on my account I posted it there.

  • @greencrystalapple just go to google 'your fit assist' because it explains how to lose weight properly. No gimmicks or sales shit. It's the only way to reliably lose weight man. It's not new, and it's not easy. But if you can master that you'll never have to worry about you're weight again.

    you want to burn fat?...buy a recumbent bicycle with magnetic resistance....

    Pedal it slow at first for short distances, a mile at a time..

    gradually increase mileage and resistance over months...

    In a year belly fat will be gone...along with all the other excess fat on your body....

    no "belly" exercises needed...they don't work and never will..you cannot spot reduce.....

  • These exercises should be done primarily to build and strengthen the abdominal muscles. Doing them burns a little fat but you can burn even more fat mostly by jogging for 10 minutes up to 60 minutes. other than that + diet and rest you could get a little speed it up a even more by using zig zagging. if you google "your fit assist maniac" it explains it more but basically bodybuilders use it to get that cut look. I've used it to get down to 10% bodyfat. Worked like a charm =)

  • @greencrystalapple You're abs are muscles. To make them grow they should be treated like any other muscle. Honestly it depends on each individual but if you want them to grow and use up more calories you'd work them for 1-2 sets of 15-20 reps at a tempo of 402. Only work them twice a week until you they stop getting stronger. Then you can can add more intensity and do more sets. Honestly though, if you're working the abs only to lose fat you're wasting your time.

  • These exercises will only improve abdominal strength, they will do almost nothing with regards to fat burning. If you want fat loss, find a good article about HIIT.

  • Jogging every day is not something I would recommend.

    Mixing it up is what worked for me, a different class everyday from Boxercise to yoga to bodyweight exercises.

    I jog every other day after classes, ride my bike when the weather permitting and walk.

    1) Cut down on carbs and processed foods.

    2) Do vigorous exercise most days.

    3) Don’t eat late (if you do make sure it's low fat, low calorie and preferably high protein).

  • Losing fat has nothing to do with excercise, but what you eat. Most western diet are crappy foods. Excercise is good to keep fitness but not to maintain your weight. Eating right nutritious foods and little fat (not saturated animal fats) always works. Stop eating process foods and foods full of saturated fats. Learn to cook fresh vegetable, eat fruits, drink water instead of diet coke and other sugary drinks, then find the right excercise that works for you. Self- discipline is important

  • @Muffinclip2 if you really need to lose chubby stomach head over to six pack factory type it in on google or youtube. i have lost from following this. He will tell you what is good etc and he updates regularly. How long you will see results all depends i seen massive results in 3 weeks but it will vary with different people and what they are doing. This exercise will only tone you. Hope ive helped :)

  • I think these exercises are perfect for people who want to tone. I'm already fairly slim but my tummy n butt could be tighter. I've tried running, walking etc but lose weight all over pretty quick so for me these exercises are perfect.

  • As a Kinesiology student graduating next year, good exercises, although most of those ab exercises were also primarily working the hip flexors, it would be good to incorporate exercises with pelvic stabilization.

    Also, with the idea to perform up-downs, mountain climbers and jump roping to reduce belly fat is FALSE. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SPOT REDUCTION. EVERYONE LOSES FAT DIFFERENTLY. Just trying to get the right info out there.
